We thought about to eat, but there is even no card for food.
Next to a bit meat and cheese with Olives and oil is nothing more.
Not even a dessert, well we got a free Port wine try, but not
Unfortunately, the wine card is cheap, too cheap for a wine bar
in my opinion. But anyway you should not think about to know
better about wine then the owner or he get a bit mad.
I just missed the year and the kind of grape used for the wine in
the wine card. To just go for the name is like play black jack.
So I asked about a 2007 Touriga Naciona (he didn't had) I asked
about 2 others, he didn't have 2007... So he asked me what kind
of wine I like. Funny that a simple guest like me have to describe
wine and this in foreign language. I wish I could read this stuff in
a wine card, as it's normal in other good restaurants, isn't it?
However, in the end we got 3 glass to try, found one almost good
and I asked about same style with no Cabernet Sauvignon. Next
bottle was not the right, but the last and it was... ok.
Overall the simple food and ok wine in the end it was not the
experience we expected.
