We are just back from Lisbon and our party of three has traveled together for a number of years, enjoying fine dining in a number of European countries. If you want a good dinner, there are many places in Lisbon that will offer you a fine meal. This restaurant stands out, however, as a fine culinary experience; an education in the art of fine cuisine. The quality of the dishes, the care of their preparation, and the thoughtful delivery to the table was nothing less than exceptional. One member of our party is allergic to most seafood and the substitutions offered in the tasting menu were superb! If you choose this restaurant, by all means take at least the basic (called "classic") wine pairings; the range of food requires it and the education about Portuguese wine that you will receive is worthy of a culinary class. This is not dinner - it is culinary education!
