We had a delicious lunch here today, and five of ate well for 60 Euros. Our waiter was a dignified mature gentleman, intensely concentrating on his duties, and he and the rest of the staff got them right. We had had enough seafood, so we chose steak au poivre over the house specialties of seafood risotto or grilled scampi. The sauce was peppery and flavorful, but Americans may be disappointed at the cut and tenderness; think round steak au poivre. We enjoyed the neighborhood atmosphere and being surrounded by locals rather than other tourists. We found the bread good, and I especially liked the sardine spread, which comes in little trays like some Dickensons jam that has strayed too far from home.
Let me also mention that writing this review on Trip Advisor's inferior iPad app prevents me from including things that I could on the real site...get on the stick, TA!
