“Lovely food, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2011

We ate here with teenage children. The service was good and the steak was really great. The atmosphere was nice, pretty at night by the bridge, but noisy when trains go over the bridge. The food was averagely priced for the quality, we would eat here again.

“Good food, great view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2011

The restaurant is in the Doca area underneath the bridge. Really good view across the river. It can get rather noisy, particularly when a train crosses the bridge! It's a lively area with a number of different bars and restaurants. The service at the restaurant is really good. We went there twice and the staff recognise us the 2nd time and even remembered our drinks order.

There's a variety of things on the menu and is very tasty. Portion sizes are good. We enjoyed ourselves at the restaurant and would return.

“Enjoyable meal at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

I came here in a group of 17 in June 2011 - i emailed direct via the address on the website and was please to find a table set up for us outside when we arrived. Everyone enjoyed their food, and our waiter was very attentive. The only trouble was that there were a few flies on the table at dusk but that's nature for you! The noise from the bridge was occasionally noisy but this wasnt a huge problem and i thought the views of the bridge more than made up for this. We paid just about €25 euros each for a decent main course, the bread & ham nibbles on the table and copious amounts of wine and sangria. All in all a pleasant meal and experience. After dinner we went for drinks and dancing at the nearby bars and had a great time!

“Good food - lazy service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2011

We went here one evening as it had been recommended.

We sat on the outside decking area next to the old dock which was a nice place to be. It's almost directly under the very impressive road bridge (the one that looks like the Golden Gate bridge). The only problem is the noise from the bridge is a loud constant whine, like having a Formula 1 race going on next to your table. This isn't just this restaurant, it affects all the restaurants in these dockside buildings. There's nothing they can do about it but I thought it was worth mentioning, you may prefer to sit inside.

The food was good but not amazing, however the service was very lazy. The place seemed to have at least 4 male and 1 female waiting staff but it was hard to get anyone's attention, even though the restaurant was not even half full. The male staff appeared to be more interested in watching the football on the TV or any attractive women who walked by. The only person who seemed to be working non-stop was the waitress. We struggled to get any service from our waiter and unsurprisingly we didn't leave a tip.

There are quite a few restaurants and bars along this strip and, due to the poor service, I really wished we'd chosen one of the others.

“Good food, good wines and good service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2011

Already went two times to this restaurant. Always in a very large groups (20+ people).
Both times leaved with the same idea: good food, good wines and a good service.
With a great variety of italian foods (pizzas, pastas, etc...) complemented with a good variety of delicious steaks (hint: go for the steak with Gorgonzola dressing).
And to go with the food a great selections of Portuguese and Italian wines, with all price ranges. I also recommend the white champagne sangria, if you're not much into wines.
As for deserts, most of them seem very nice, but almost never got to them has i always get full before. But tried a little piece of the chocolate calzone (for 4 pax) and it was wonderful.
And all this wonderful and delicious food is toped with a great service. Efficient and very friendly.
And if you're lucky and get a table by the window in the 2nd floor you get a magnificent view over the marina and the south bank of the Tagus river.
