On entering this restaurant we were greeted curtly by a waiter of indifferent disposition, maybe he didn't like being there on a Sunday night. After browsing the menu we sat waiting and finally attracted his attention, when he finally took our order his curtness shone through especially when quizzed about wines, he obviously knew nothing about the qualities of wines listed on the menu, we settled for one he said was 'good' taking the risk. Perhaps he was tired of waiting on tourists, he should remember that tourism pays his wages. The meal service was given by a more friendly waiter who seemed to redress the situation. Our food was mediocre, tres ordinaire, one of a couple on a table next to us sent her main course back to the kitchen. May be the Sunday night blues had set in. Given previous meals we had elsewhere in Lisbon over a period of 8 days, the Louro and Sal proved to us unworthy of a rating higher than 2 stars.
