“Excellent Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2010

The hotel is huge! The lobby is spacious and well-lighted. The rooms were large. They were clean and they smelled clean! The door knobs and window locks were all in working condition. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient. Free wi-fi service was fast and available everywhere in the hotel. The staff was generally pleasant. The dining room is simple but pristine. Breakfast is the same everyday so it can get a little tiring. Meals served throughout the day are satisfactory but not exceptional. Service by the dining room staff is fast and friendly. The location is perfect---right smack in a shopping district and a brief walk from the shrine.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2010

I went to this hotel in a conferee meeting. everything was there, from breakfast to coffee breaks to the talks and the sleeping of course.
There were a lot of good sweets in the coffee breaks, the food during the meals was nice but with little choice and the conditions for the talks/conference were pretty good.

The hotel is very close to the sanctuary, less then 5 minutes walking.

The rooms are spacious, clean but I found the sound insulating a bit week even if I did not heard anything during the night. The town was quiet that night.

Stayed two nights at the hotel for the purposed of seeing Fatima - and especially where the children were born and the apparitions took place. The hotel is decent and in a lovely area within walking distance to the Basilica.

This hotel is right in the middle of all the souvenir shops and all the tourists. It is clean and modern, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was fine, however, Fatima left a lot to be desired.

Actually you shouldn't be surprised the reviews are ALL good....great location, spotlessly clean, and even a cappucino machine at Breakfast....

Friendly staff, and if your wondering where to eat..walk across the road and the best Chinese Resturant in Portugal (maynot) but OUR family thought so!!!

Modern and stylish......great find!

From the airport we took bus rede expressos from bus station sete rios (seven rivers) only cost us 18 euros for 3 including our 3 luggages. It take us about 1.5 hrs to fatima which is the best option arriving in fatima bus station. Distance to our hotel approx 400mtrs and its easy walking distance to the sanctuary and the hotel is located at the rua francisco marto . We didnt have a hard time finding the place as its very near to the rest of the establishment. I cant comment with the stunning , cleanliness and well organise location. It has a very wide reception hall and with a very nice receptionist very helpful with our needs. The room is very clean and spacious and lots of character. The breakfast is plentiful (continental) included to the price and its worth every penny we spent. We booked our hotel with Octopus travel cost us 2 double room 64 euros/night and definitely will booked again with same hotel . Fatima is a very magical and full of mystery a holy place for meditation which is suitable to evryone. I rate this hotel as 4 star rating as it deserved to be. You try and you'll see you wont be disappointed.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, great rooms with bath, cable, good breakfeast, they rate it 3 star but much more like a 4 star hotel, 2 blocks to shrine and you can come and go any time you please which is good as shrine stays open 24 hours and some like to go late to do penatential walk when few around and some small hotels you must be in at certain time. Book thru octopustravel on this site for lowest rate.
