Waza has been my long time favorite, and I feel the best restaurant in the Sagres area. The team of Jean Louis, (a trained chef hailing from Normandy) and his Portuguese partner, Helena, have put together a fantastic menu offering local and international dining options. Items such as tuna puree with the appitizer, roast duck breast, bacalhau (cod) and a grilled fish of the day are just some of the memorable offerings. Presentation is always eye catching; each plate seems to be a work of art. If you dine around the early evening, you can expect to be invited to carry your glass of wine to the rooftop to view the setting sun in the western sky. Dessert items such as choclate cake or apple pie are my favorites.
