We visited cape St Vincent when we returned to the car a flyer was under the wiper we then went to Sagres. My wife said how about eating here meaning the place on the flyer. She said it does BBQ not just fish. As I would rather lick a hobo than eat fish we gave it a try. First thing that hit me was the fact that you could see fish in the cabinet all look fresh clear eyes ect. We where welcomed and shown a table service was quick waitress was a bit slow but I suspect here English was not to good.

Starters bread and olives (olives still had stones) all tastey not sure about sardine pate (fish paste). Mains came mixed kebab for me excellent my little girl had ribs very very tastey she moaned because it was not in sauce. Meat like that deserves to be tasted as is. My little lad had chicken again very good. My other son had sword fish he loved it. My father in law had sardines he enjoyed them all six of them. Fish came with potatoes and veg meat came with rice and chips and salad all very good.

Resturant was clean as we're glasses and plates and all eating irons. No dirty food here not that I saw.

A great rule of thumb is if locals eat there then it can't be bad two tables of people from the town so I doubt it was too bad
7 meals with starters 88 euros great value.
