“Excellent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

After spending a weekend in this great Pousada, all i can say is everything was excelent!!! From the quality of the staff to the great room view arranged for us (many thanks to Mr. Luis Paes) and the very tastefull dinner...soberb! Had the pleasure of knowing the Pousada manager, Ms Helia Carvalho, who did all the best to ensure we felt like home.
I truly recommend this hotel, and if you are a snorkling fan don't Forget to have some diving in the beach right in front of the Pousada.ý

Room Tip: ask to reserve room 201...the best view!!!

The room was clean and ready when we arrived. The reception staff was extremely helpful, patient and recommended the best restaurant we ate at possible of the whole trip. The location was great with a wonderful view of the ocean from almost any room.

We stayed 3 nights at Pousada do Infante. The Pousada is quite large with historical architecture. The room was not very large and also not as fancy as I hoped.
Of course you have a wonderful view over the coastline. It's stunning and you may stand on your balcony for a while. The breakfast is good, many things you can choose, fresh cakes and fruits included. It's a buffet style breakfast.
We've in the lounge-bar twice, you can order a port or a beer. It's not really expensive. It's very quiet and relaxing in the lounge. There you also have wireless internet access and several news papers and magazines.
Anyway, it was very quiet in the hotel. We never heard other guests, even the night the hotel was fully booked.

If you want to go for a restaurant in Sagres, within 10 minutes you are in the main street of Sagres. There are some good restaurants and bars. If you go for a walk, the Fortaleza of Sagres is about 30 minutes from the Pousada by feet. We also walked from the hotel to the Cabo de Sao Vincente, which is about 6.5 km. It's a very nice walk (not a hike) of 2.5 hours each way.

All in all the Pousada was the top choice in Sagres.

Room Tip: There are rooms without oceanview, the face the parkingspace and street. Don't take them, you wo...

Booked for 2 nights stayed for 4, So peaceful. Very friendly staff. Manageress; Helios was great, couldn't do enough for us, made us feel so welcome. Great location, short walk to a fantastic beach, or even shorter drive and could park by the beach, but this was in September. Fantastic views from hotel, across the bay and of the sun setting. Small village with some nice fish restaurants. Very Chilled place. Would certainly go back there but not in the main summer season, as I gather its very busy then.

This pousada's location can't be beat. Set on the cliffs of Sagres, you can take in sweeping views of the ocean from almost every inch of this hotel. We requested a room with a view and were not disappointed - from our balcony we could see over the cliffs and into the Atlantic. Sagres is a small town, so it's hard to imagine an inconvenient location; the pousada is a 5-10 minutes from the town center and beaches and a few miles from the Fortaleza de Sagres.

The standard room is very spacious. It felt more like a suite. During turndown service, two small chocolates are left on the king-sized bed. There's only wi-fi access in the common areas downstairs. Breakfast is a buffet with a large variety of foods to choose from. The staff here were more than accommodating; service was fantastic.

This Pousada has a fantastic setting overlooking the sea and coastline. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the Bar and Lounge areas we really enjoyed. the staff are really friendly and very helpfulYou can go online to read emails and relax by having a drink or a snack. The breakfasts were really good, plenty to eat. The location of the hotel is convenient to making day trips whether to Portimao or even up the cost to all the beautiful beaches. Depending what type of stay you want, this is not the most modern hotel but it is somewhere where you can relax within a beautiful setting. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with an ocean view.
