“Great Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

A nice, modern place by the beach with a good athmosphere. More than just great pizzas
Their cafe next door is also good.
The House in front (not owned by D'Italia) looks like it has great food also.

“not very Italian”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

My husband and i visited this restaurant because it had quite a nice attractive outdoor seating area. on our first visit, the food was, at best, average and the service was really not great. Regardless, we gave it a second chance and on our second visit, the service was better (marginally)- no interaction with the staff, they weren't particularly welcoming etc. - not very Italian at all. Additionally the food was worse! i ordered pizza which was basically a base, small amounts of various ingredient and lots and lots of cheese!! so much cheese that i couldn't finish it and felt like i was still digesting it the next morning.

They're an embarrassment to Italians! If the restaurant reads this- 'get yourselves some proper chefs!'

“Superb pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

We were staying in the sister B&B round the corner so it was perfect. The gorgeous Italian aromas won us over as soon as walked in the door.
Service was outstanding along with generous portions of perfectly made Italian food. We had garlic bread with cheese and doughballs drenched in melted garlic butter, followed by handmade pizzas and good coffee. All for 30 Euros.

“Does what it says”

Good service. Good food. Good wine. If you want a break from sea food look no further. Only visited once at lunchtime but would go again ....

“Decent Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

After eating nothing but Portuguese food, we wanted something with a bit more flavor. We stopped by D'Italia after visiting the fort and beach in Sagres. We wound up sitting outside. There is a lovely view of the beach.

The pizzas are good. Big enough for two people. Lots of variety too. We also had a caesar salad. It was bad. Way too much dressing. They also gave us free bruschetta. It was ok. Good topping, but a little soggy. However it was better than most of the other places we tried in Sagres.
