I tried other restaurants in Sagres but this one is the best so far. Thelocation, food and price are great. I recommend it!

“If you are looking for fish...very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Went there at around 10:15PM and almost did miss the meal, since the kitchen closes at 10PM.

So we took a fast decision: a Pargo for 2. Pargo is not the best fish but still it was fres fresh and well served. For desert I tuly recomend the Torta de Amendoa...truly traditional, Algarve style.
I was late but still the service was quite warm and nice.
the restaurant is located quite close to the Fishing Harbour, so for sure the fish is always fresh. If you are at the Memmo, just take a walk on the stairs next door.

In resume, for me, a very good traditional option for fish in a quite relaxing place with a outside view over the ocean. Nevertheless, please do not expect nothing outstanding.

“Friendly staff and lovely setting but big shame about the food!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

Lovely views over harbour and interesting decor. Friendly enough staff who are attentive and a basic yet sufficient wine list. Couverts should be avoided as its a rip off and the food left a lot to be desired. 'a tasca' style meaning re-heated bumpy cheap tasting slop with a big bill at the end! If it hadn't been for the welcoming staff and effort they made, we would have refused to pay. I'm hoping we just had an unlucky meal based on the other good reviews but if the owners see this, we urge you to improve the standard of what you serve. Compliments to your staff however.

“Lovely setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This restaurant has great views, the staff were friendly and reasonably attentive. The seafood was very good as you would expect as it is located adjacent to the harbour, I would recommend a visit and a leisurely lunch to anyone. Some of the dishes on the menu seem a tad overpriced, but all in all an excellent experience.

“Good selection of fish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

Nice place to stop for a drink overlooking the port or a light lunch. We had a selection of fish (sardines, tuna belly and rice with seafood) and it was all fairly fresh and tasty. it was a bit more expensive than other places but not scandalous.
The service was slow - as it is in all relaxed countries and being on holidays we didn't mind! - but attentive and helpful.
