“A treat in heavenly style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

Staying at Casa Tres Palmeiras and being pampered by Mrs. Dolly and her friendly staff make life worth living, even though I must admit that it feels more like you are in heaven than on earth.

The hotel is right on the cliff of the Atlantic and you are the last house (nearly also the only) who is having this type of sea view overlooking the water, cliffs and beach. You just have to walk ca 2 minutes from the gates to the beach (you can borrow beach umbrellas of Dolly and she supplies you with a beach towel, which is only to be used on the sandy beach) and then head back to the salt water pool and sun chairs at the hotel (all guest has their own chair and a set of two beach towels handed out every morning). This year there were new, huge umbrellas by the pool, which gave some well needed shade, when the temperature were over 44 degrees Celcius for 3 days.

There is a lounge were you can mix your on drink, sit down and read one of the many paper back books from the library or you can just sit outside for the whole day (sun from early morning to late evening). I have not had a rental car during my stays at Casa Tres Palmeiras and I do think it works out very fine. Within 5 minutes you will find a O Lino, a very good fish restaurants, right on the beach, and aprox. 25 minutes away by foot, you get to all the buzz and restaurants which Praia de Rocha offerts. Since it gets dark around 20hrs in the summertime, Dolly provides all her guest with flash lights, so you can see your way to and back to the different restaurants.

I do not have words for how much I like Casa Tres Palmeiras and the feeling of being blessed to sit from early morning to late evenings by the house, just overlooking the sea and taking part of this paradise which Mrs Dolly and her staff is creating. It is a treat to visit this Mrs Dolly's Casa Tres Palmeiras and I am looking forward to return next year again.

Ps The rooms are great as well- spatious, pretty, and very luxurious.

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Casa Tres Palmeiras. It was complete perfection and Dolly was so helpful in her suggestions on what to eat and where. Eating breakfast overlooking the sea was very special and the room we had was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We can't wait to return.

I have been watching the great reviews of Casa Tres on trip advisor for over a year. All have been five stars. My wife and I stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for three nights. It sits over the ocean on a cliff were we could view a beach and adjoining cliffs. Restaurants were minutes away with reasonable prices and good food and of course a glass or two of good wine. Dolly's house was very charming with a very comfortable bed and bath. Breakfast was on the patio each morning next to a salt water pool We were served a great breakfast at a table overlooking the ocean. Dolly, the owner, was concerned about our comfort and even got me olives when I made a "suggestion" that I would love to have some. We already miss Casa Tres and Dolly. We hope to return this year.

We are in love with Dolly and her 2 dogs, Bundo, and Guga. We now know the definition of an exquisite vacation. From the moment we arrived until our departure, Dolly's home was our home. She epitomizes class, good taste, quick-witted humor, and graciousness. Spectacular views in clean spacious rooms that are so conveniently located to the salt water pool, the cliffs, the beaches below, and nearby restaurants make this the most relaxing place to stay. It is a serene, tranquil, romantic place whose memories cannot be surpassed by any other place you stay. We miss you Dolly.

Room Tip: There isn't a bad room so just make a reservation.

Dolly - the owner - will do anything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast setting is amazing and you feel like a king when the table is rolled in just for you. We spend the days after our wedding here which was the perfect decision!

This is the most beautiful place on earth - not just because of the amazing views, perfect room, delicious breakfast, nice Swiss Jazz muzic in the living room, the perfectly boiled egg, the delicious scambled eggs, but also because of the amazing host Dolly! This place "is" Dolly and that is why this is really a special place to stay. She is a great personality, has a very good sense of humor and is the sweetest person you can imagine. That's why this is in our view the best place we ever stayed (and we did some travelling...). It is not easy to write down a review as this place is too beautiful to describe in words - it is a must see, a must do.

The location is enchanting, the service is just the way it should be and the owner Dolly - the perfect host.
With only 5 rooms to book you are going to be lucky to get one. If possible ask for the rooms with the sea / pool view. With its amazing view, few available rooms, and a wonderful beach to walk in, this is a perfect place for a romantic stay.
Good food near by.

Room Tip: Look for a room that face the pool /sea.
