“200 plus steps but worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014 NEW

I knew this beach from over ten years ago. It really is a lovely little cove with beautiful sea and beach. It is quite small but lots of space as there is a tunnel that has been dug through the rock to access the cove on the other side!! Yes it does have over 200 steps to get down to it (with stopping platforms to take in stunning views) but honestly worth it!

“Great food and wonderful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014 NEW

Wonderful place in idyllic setting. Walked along the cliff walk from lagos to this restaurant and beach. Very busy with locals and tourists alike. Would recommend.

“Best beach <3”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014 NEW

My fiancées family are Portuguese so we holiday here every year in august and this beach is one of my top 3 its just beautiful. So relaxing, very quiet out of season and private most of the time. You can relax and get some amazing photos. Water is cold but you dont care when you have the beautiful beach

We were desperate to go down on to the beach but access had been restricted, but what a view! magnificant sand and clear blue sea!

“A Bucket List Beach!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

The pictures really don't do this place justice. If you are anywhere near Lagos on holidays you MUST visit this beach. It really is beautiful and worth the trek. I spent the whole afternoon just looking around mesmerised by the natural beauty of the water, cliffs, caves and beaches.

A few words of caution to get the most out of your stay:
You need to be fit to get to the beach as there are 200+ steps down and back up again
There is no shade on the beach so bring an umbrella or suitable clothing to cover yourself
Get there early as the beach fills up quick
There are no facilities on the beach so bring any food or drinks required (you can buy water bottles from the restaurant at the top)
Don't settle at the waterline as when the tide comes in you will find yourself having to move and squashed beside others at the back of the beach
On windy days the waves can get very big in some of the coves which makes swimming difficult
