“One of the best restaurants in Lagos!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

Our 2nd time here (the upstairs restaurant). Quite superb food. Great produce, beautifully and cleverly cooked to match different flavours. Service to match. Very highly recommended (and we have tried all of the top listed restaurants in Lagos).

“One of the best restaurants in Lagos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

We have been coming to this restaurant for several years and it is definitely one of our favourites. The welcome is always genuine and the surroundings wonderful overlooking the whole bay past Portimao . The food is all freshly prepared with a weekly special menu as well as the a la carte. Your wine and drinks are served to you and it always feels a special occasion even though the price is the same as many restaurants in town.

“Food to make you smile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Any fellow foodie reading this will know what I mean by food that is so good you can't take the grin off your face. Michelin quality food with michelin quality service and views over the beach. It isn't cheap but worth every penny. Don't be put off by the decor. Chintz is an understatement but immaculate nonetheless. The chocolate cake is an absolute must! It's actually a perfectly cooked chocolate fondant, incorrectly titled on the menu.

“Fantastic food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We stayed at Vila Palmeira in June 2013 and ate at the bistro (downstairs at this Restaurant) on a number of occasions for lunch and dinner, with our toddler. The food is delicious - it's expensive but you get what you pay for. The bistro itself is perhaps lacking a little in atmosphere but the quality of the food makes up for it. The service is great with plenty of attention being paid to our little one, much to his delight. It is a bit out of town but I would highly recommend making the trip.
