“Lovely Place!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011 via mobile

It was so far the Best Restaurant after three days in Portugal algave. I hope my Mother can understand that if I say that I the meatballs here are the best i ever eat.

So it is nö Problem that the Prices are a Little Bit more expansive.

It is Not easy to Fund so you have to ASK for it.

The servie is very special.

“What a find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2011

We visited Arribale twice during our stay and it was easily the best dining experience in Lagos. The food was simply prepared by Hans on a charcoal grill and the ambience was enhanced by the friendly and relaxed staff. Ken and Mario, the owners, were a hoot!! The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. If you like quality ingredients cooked to perfection and served in an informal Bistro style.... look no further than Arribale. We also went to Casa Pintor and although the food was delicious, we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Arribale and the value for money.

“Terrific Portuguese Tapas!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2011

Arribale was recommended to us through friends of ours. We were looking to take family that were visiting us from New Jersey somewhere rather special and we defintely found that in Arribale. The premises is full of charm - a centuries old fishermans store that has been lovingly restored. The Portuguese chef made a selection of outstanding dishes among them, cod fish salad, octopus salad, prawns in garlic and the grilled fish left us wanting more. The service was very attentive. Our host went to great lengths to explain the menu and made sure our every need was catered for. We left feeling as though we'd stumbled upon Lagos' best kept secret. I cannot recommend this little treasure highly enough.

“Delicious food and fantastic atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2011

Arribale restaurant is a real find, it is a small restaurant full of character and charm tucked away in the centre of Lagos.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very friendly and laid back. You can just sit back and take your time to enjoy the variety of tasty tapas, grilled fish and meats and take in the historic character of this amazing old building. Worth visiting.

“Verry good Food, Good company...... the best restaurant in Lagos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2011

We found this restaurant after walking round looking at all the mediocre plastic chaired restaurant menus in the old town. It's a small and very friendly resturant, English owner Portugiese chef. A small simple menu with lots of big flavours. Would recommend the chef tapas, calamarie and fish dish of the day. The chef visits the Market on a daily basis to get the fish, he makes he's own dips and happy to stop for a beer and a chat! Highly recommended
