I have been coming to the Algarve for 28 years and so far have avoided coming to this restaurant mainly because I was under the impression it only served chicken piri piri which I don't like. I was wrong, this may have been the case in the old days but now their menu is quite varied and in these hard economic times it's a good old fashioned "cheap and cheerful" meal. You get what you pay for but as that is only €6.90 per person for half a chicken and lovely chips that price is fine by me. Add on a glass of wine and dessert and you're still only talking €30 for two people which is exceptional value in this area of the Algarve, no wonder they've stayed in business.
