Nice restaurant serving exceelent food.
Staff attentive and very friendly.
Unfortunately, outside area was closed as we visited in off season, but it looked very nice.

“Dois Irmaos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I have to disagree with the negative reviews as when we visited this restaurant, everything was perfect.
The house suggestions, although only in portugese, were translatel by our very knowledgeable waiter. I had the sea bream and my partner had the mixed fish,
Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Ok, the service is typically un rushed portugese, by we were on holiday and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The sweet selection is god roo. Lemon pie highly recommended.
We would definitely go back again.

“Enjoyable and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

We shared a number of starters including ham and prawns, and enjoyed them all. For our main course we shared a large dorada between 3. Excellently cooked, and beautifully tender and flaky. We found the staff friendly and well informed, and appreciated the wine recommendation - speaking Portuguese was a help (although some of the waiters did speak English to other customers). For €110 including tip, we were well pleased.

“lots of picnic tables restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

We followed the tripadvisor's recommend then we were quite surprised the food and service are so bad. THe reason is 20% of my seafood grill was burned and the rest of food and salad no taste at all. Even we know already the house wijn will not be great but this wijn was so bad so my husband just give them back immediately. The price here is same like other places but the food was so BAD. I will no recommand poeple go to this place at all
So we made decision the rest of the days we just back the one we feel is the best in this city.

“Good food but not quite what we ordered”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

There were 6 of us and we had an enjoyable lunch. We had to insist on the menu of the day which is only printed in Portuguese despite the main menu having an English translation. The waiter did try and translate but the grilled fish was a mystery, the spring lamb was mutton and the pork stew had several other meats included. Despite this it was an enjoyable meal and good value which could have been cheaper if the olives, salad (€7) etc just placed on the table had been refused. We would definitely go again but insist more about what we wanted from the outset.
