Well, a lot of good things (and a great setting and nice courtyard) but too many poor things to justify the high price. Suite was very spacious and well equipped but shower was a disaster and the bath tiny. Why have DVD players in the suites but only 2 DVD's that you can borrow (both childrens) but they do have a lot of videos that no-one can use!
Also amazingly the suites have well equipped kitchens (fridge, hob, microwave, dishwasher) but we have no plates, no cutlery and precisely 6 glasses. It was tempting to use the dishwasher! Why no kettle and some coffee and tea - perhaps that will be cutting into profits a bit too much!
Room not cleaned till late afternoon each day and turn down service missed one evening out of four with no explanation. Wireless computer access was not working and no explanation except "it is not working" and no indication when it will. But there was one desk top for guests use.
Pool area and gardens pleasant but at these prices I would expect some help with towels and lounger cushions. On day one, when you don't know the form, you are left to find out yourself with no help. Pool man only appears to tidy up at the end of the day. Beware some of the decking which is broken and seems to cause many people to trip.
However a great beach is but a short walk away (not down a cliff as another correspondent has reported) but I guess in high season finding space would be a problem. Good sauna and steam rooms but we did not try the other SPA options as we felt they were a little on the high price side and about €1 per minute whatever you had.
At check out two credit cards failed to work despite the fact they both worked the day before and after we left but I was left in no doubt it was not their problem.
All in all it could be great but at the price we paid we will not be back - there are better value places available.
