“you MUST try this restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

As opposed to Medici over the road, this is a totally unpretentious restaurant with good quiality food at very resonable prices. The service is with a smile and fast. The lunch menu (9euros) and evening menu(13euros) for 3 courses and a drink ( 2 glasses wine or coke etc) and a coffee is excellant value. The a la carte menu is also very resonable and excellant quality. We visited 3 times in the 10 days.

“Unpretentious, outstanding value for money, friendly staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

As the previous reviews have said, this restaurant perhaps isn't as inviting on the outside as its neighbours but the food is excellent. We tried both fixed price menus - lunch (9 euros) and dinner (13.5 euros) - wonderful value. The staff are very efficient and friendly and lots of locals and regulars eat there, which is always a good sign.
It is situated at the top of "restaurant hill", which suited us as we were staying further up. Well worth the exercise if you are staying at the bottom!

“Great Value, Good Staff, Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

It's always good when you revisit a restaurant you've eaten in before to find it's just as good if not better.

Situated at the top of restaurant hill this is a restaurant that doesn't shout about itself but relies on word of mouth to assure itself of a regular clientel - both at lunchtime and dinnertime.

We arrived (for dinner) without a reservation and were seated outside. The restaurant was nicely busy with a good atmosphere made up of locals and tourists. We had noticed that they had a tourist menu (Eruo 13.50) on offer and decided to investigate further. So glad we did.

There were a number of options for each course, - we decided on soup / salad, and 2 different fish options, followed by fresh strawberrys. All rounded off with a very nice coffee.
One drink was also inluded in the price - we shared a small carafe of white wine - very palatable too!.

The pacing of the evening was just right - it's not a "quick" meal, but that suits us just fine, and all the staff are so pleasant and welcoming.

They also have music nights - we have enjoyed these on other visits. - it's definitely worth a walk up the hill to check out the menu. Would recommend, and we will be back.

Great value for money, beautifully cooked food & plenty of it. Fantastic service, friendly & attentive with being overbearing. We went twice in the space of a few days we loved it so much.
