We stayed at Hibiscus Garens not too long after they were fully opened and completed. The resort itself is a perfect size with enough people around the pool to make friends and for the kids to have others to play with but intimate enough to know the names of everyone and NEVER have to rush to the pool to grab a lounger. We actually never made it to the pool before 11-12pm and were often the 1st there!
We arrived fairly late, after the local shop had closed and I thought it wonderful that Chris (the developers son) came and met us and had laid on a lovely plate of antipasti for us.
There's a lovey restaurant/cafe by the pool which operates on an honour basis, so you just fill in what you've had and settle up at the end of your stay so no need to faff about bringing money to the pool.
The actual villa we stayed in was stunning, very modern, spacious and well kept with a full stocked kitchen (and a diswasher). The wasing machine isn't in the villa itself but still free to use and I think the plan was to install more of them.
Hibiscus Gardens is a bit of walk into the main centre, about 20-30 mins, but there is a small plaza with a few restaurants about a 15-20 min walk away. I can definitely recommend Stone Steak, the best fillet steak I've had in years. The minimarket is about a 5-10 min walk away.
A truely unique and lovely place to stay. I never visit the same place twice purely because I think the world's a big place and there's so much yet to explore but I actually would re-visit Hibiscus Gardens as it is a little bit special.
