After reading just 2 reviews, i was a bit unsure about staying here. We got a really good deal with my Dads time share and booked a 1 & 2 bedroom apartment between 6 of us couples, late twenties. When we arrived at reception, we were dealt with quickly, very organised english speaking staff . We were given a map of the resort and our apartments were a 10min walk from reception up hill. The apartments were brand new so spacious with a jacuzzi bath and a large patio with sun loungers and garden table. There were 3 swimming pools 1 for each part of the resort which were very nice with a snack bar and restaurant. I can't fault the resort , only that we did have to get taxi's to the old town but they were so cheap and the apartments also laid on a mini bus which did trips to the town through out the day. The restaurant at the main pool was great. O'Pavillion the Chef was great, english couple been there 20 years, we had amazing dinners steak cooked on a stone plate, rack of lamb, steak pie all with great potatoes and veg, not cheap, 15-17 Euros a main but well worth it.
Overall i would reccomend this place it was great especially if you like self catering and don't mind the quieter resorts. [--]

We have recently returned from our first holiday in Portugal staying at Club Albufeira.
The appartment was of an excellent standard with maid service every day. Our appartment overlooked the the pool which was spotlessat all times, and with a very good standard of lifeguarding throughout the day. Food in the Bar Cafe was very good and exceptional value for money. Weather was fantastic! We liked every aspect of our stay at Club Albufeira and we intend to return in Oct for one week and 2 weeks during Xmas.
I was very surprised to learn that this site has only a 2 key rating, it should be more.

We had a great holiday in Club Albufeira in the Algarve. Although it was winter we had lovely spring sunny days. The premises of the club were excellent all highly kept up great pool and very good restaurant.The appartment itself lacked in nothing it had all the luxuries there to have a great relaxing holiday even an open log fireplace for when it got a bit nippy in the evenings just puurfect (perfect)The Algarve itself has amazing beeches and wonderful countryside all in all a super club super appartment super country I found this website a great help in booking my appartment (-)holiday-rents(-)
