“A VERY GOOD HOTEL....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Seven of us -all wrinklies males, visited February 18th for a week. We had a very pleasant break and agree with previous comments. OK so the location is a little "back of town", but handy for the bus station, crazy golf(expensive at 10 euros with drink) and football stadium. Albufeira itself looks a little tired but hey, it was out of season, however the hotel premises could not be faulted, , excellent clean well fitted rooms which were cleaned daily to high standard, (105,107,109,and 111) Nice touch with the fruit /bottled water on arrival. Food was of decent quality and choice-always something to pile on the weight! Too cold for the outdoor pool but the indoor pool ,Jacuzzi and gym were all used. What really made it for us lot, were the staff especially in the bar/restaurant. Always on hand ,cheerful and friendly, they helped each other out when busy and seemed to work together well as a team.( see pictures)
We would have no hesitation of recommending this hotel. Flew with Jet 2 on their package AI holiday ( the return bus did not turn up but was quickly rectified by hotel reception) Could maybe get it cheaper if booked direct with hotel ??

“Great family holiday”
Booked this last minute and couldn't have asked for more for what we paid. We stayed All Inclusive and I'd expected to be really limited on food choices as I'm Coeliac but as soon as I made the restaurant manager aware - I was spoilt with Gluten Free choices... cereals, cakes and breads for breakfast, meat and fish dishes...

“Great staff make for a great hotel!”
Just back from a week's all inclusive bargain break at the Real Bellavista and it was a very pleasant experience. We stayed on the 4th floor in a recently renovated room overlooking the front of the hotel. It had a balcony and seemed to catch the sun for most of the day. We had a lovely, relaxing week. The staff were courteous and friendly. Our room was plenty big enough for the four of us. We thought the food was excellent. We also made use of the kids' clubs in both the Bellavista and its sister hotel. As our children requested to go more than once, they must have enjoyed themselves! We used the indoor pool at the Bellavista and the kids used the outdoor heated one at the Santa Eulalia. We enjoyed the evening entertainment including the dance workshop and the film night. We were lucky with the weather and spent some time on local beaches. As we'd hired a car we made a trip to Silves and another to Carvoeira. All in all a wonderful time was had by all.

Carlos Silva is the perfect host and should be very proud of his great team who made the children feel so relaxed and welcome in a dining room of mostly older guests.
Kids club, indoor pool and lovely grounds all made for a relaxing half term break.

Just back from a week's all inclusive bargain break at the Real Bellavista and it was a very pleasant experience. We stayed on the 4th floor in a recently renovated room overlooking the front of the hotel. It had a balcony and seemed to catch the sun for most of the day. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided when requested. The hotel was quite quiet for most of the time we were there - it was February after all! - but was noticeably busier at weekends. The food was plentiful with something to attract most people and what it lacked in variety, it made up for in quality! There was always a choice of meat, fish and pasta dishes and the salads, vegetables and desserts were delicious. The All Inclusive drinks were very good - I can recommend the Super Bock draught beer and the 'pink wine' and sangria seemed popular too.
What made the hotel stand out from many I have stayed in was the friendliness, service and professionalism shown by all of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble - the tall lady at reception was extremely helpful in securing us a hire car at a moment's notice and she even checked our pick-up time when I was having a problem contacting the firm on my mobile. They are a credit to the hotel. I certainly plan to stay at this hotel again if, and when, I return to the Algarve.

Stayed for 7 nights all inclusive. The room was fine, cleaned daily and we had a nice balcony that overlooked the pool. The hotel is situated pretty much equidistant from both the old town and the new town and both have their own charm and merits. The old town is more historical with winding streets whilst the new town is basically a long line of neon lit pubs, clubs and restaurants. The walk to either is about 15mins but the hotel does run a free bus service to the main areas - this is only a small bus though on first come, first serve so people start queuing early. We used it the first morning so we could get our bearings and see the way to walk and never used it after that. Food at mealtimes was buffet and generally ok but nothing special. The snackbar during the day was probably the worst one I've seen in any all inclusive hotel. Poor choice - generally cold hotdogs was all that was available. We tended to go out during the day so it didn't really bother us, but I suspect this would be a major let down for families with children. Word of warning, we stayed in June and the pool was freezing to the point you couldn't stay in for very long and wasn't very enjoyable. I suspect later in the summer, this isn't an issue.

This is a true gem of a hotel. Staff are fantastic, very pleasant and have time for everyone. The facilities are amazing from the spa treatments, pools sauna etc.
The bar is excellent, proper tall glasses not the usual little ones you often get when you stay All inclusive. You can always find a quiet place to sit even in the evening.
My room was spacious, with a proper bathroom as big as some other hotel rooms I've stayed in.
Today is my last day and honestly could stay for longer. In my job I average 80/90 days in hotels a year. This hotel stands out, well done to the management and staff. I will be back.

Stayed for 5 nights in February all inclusive. Hotel was quiet as had just opened after Xmas break. Everything with the hotel was fine and would happily recommend to to anyone. The food was good with a reasonable choice considering the hotel was not very busy. The best thing though was that the staff who were so friendly and helpful. All were first rate but I would particularly like to thank Fernando who always had a smile on his face and is without doubt an asset to the hotel. When we return in autumn we will stay again at the real bellavista.
