Just got back from a fab week here with my husband. We have stayed here before 3 yrs ago and were pleased to say it was as good as we remembered . We had a pool view studio ( room 118) which was perfect , great size balcony/ terrace that got the sun from lunchtime onwards and also a great view of the sea too which was lovely to see on a morning. Maid service faultless and all staff very friendly and helpful

Pool was very very cold but pleasant to sit by, even though the hotel was quiet busy this area was still peaceful, we choose to sit at the end near the water feature and was lovely to relax by. Supermarket is on the doorstep as is the taxi rank should you need to use it, we caught a cab to villamoura and it was 20E each way inc tip. We will definitely be back again at some point in the future

Room Tip: Pay extra for a pool view, land view rooms are either main road or carpark and have no sun

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 days in march.Roooms were clean and tidy. They were cleaned daily with fresh towels.Beds were a little hard but after a few drinks they are ok ha ha !!
We used the sauna, indoor pool and jacuzi they could do with updating. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: We had a room facing car park.No noise was heard.

The hotel is ideally situated for shops, old town and The Strip.
Very nice coffee shop and patisserie just at front of hotel, must try the Portugese custard tarts. Pastiche de Nata, they are delicious.
Try a train journey, we travelled to villa real de St Antonio and then took the ferry across to Spain (Ayemonte) it was a good day out.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view, most of the land view rooms don't get any sun on the balcony. We've st...

Great hotel . with great facilities .
we arrived in faro to lovely sunny skies and thats how it stayed this was december so very pleased .
We were met before our cheery little yellowfish taxi driver in the airport , who we had met before the year before , and he remembered us too which was nice . yellowfish are a very good way to get to the hotel , good price , a free gift and wifi that we dont use but they do have it in all the cars . most people tend to use them rather than the shuttle that takes ages and stops everywhere .
We were early so couldnt check in straight away ,we had expected that so we went downstairs to the little cake shop and had a lovely milky coffee and a cake (2.20euro ) wouldnt even get the coffee for that in uk.
we then went next door to the supermarket to get supplies for the week , when we got back the room was ready .
We always book pool/sea view as they are nicer to look out the other side is the road.
had a great week the weather of course helped came back with a tan and ready for xmas.

Just returned home after a very comfortable stay. Rooms are very, very clean - maids are in every day & do a very good job, indoor pool is fantastic & very warm!, breakfast (we stayed B&B) was excellent with a very good choice & service. We had a hire car from the airport & the hotel has a secure free car park for guests. You will not be disappointed. I cannot really find a negative thing to say. We ate on three evening occasions at the restaurant/ cakeshop next to the entrance at the front of the hotel & this was also excellent (i think this is part of the hotel). This is the first review I have ever made, but this hotel deserves it!!

Room Tip: Pool view a must

Staying in this hotel at the moment. This is our second visit to the Brisa Sol. Never before have I stayed anywhere twice may I add. Our check in was very quick and although the room we were allocated was not to my taste, we asked to change to another room which the hotel did for us with no complaints. Our room is nice although I think some modernising of the kitchen and bathroom would do well for this hotel. It has everything you could need for a self catering holiday though in terms of equipment. It is situated right between the new and old town of Albufeira. The maids do an excellent job every day in our room so I really cannot complain there. The hotel is very clean in all areas. The reception team are fantastic and very helpful particularly Joanna who helped us with enquiries about tours and other rooms. She gave us her advice based on her local knowledge. I don't know what it is but I just love this hotel and even though we have stayed here before, I didn't find it boring like I normally would do. It is almost like home from home. Has a very comfortable feel to the place. Cant comment on the checkout yet as we have not checked out. Last year however it was done without a problem. The hotel does have a nice indoor pool and spa facilities which we did use. These were very nice. Again could do with some modernising to improve this area. It wasn't dirty just needed a few quid spending on it.

Right next door is a large Continente supermarket which is excellent. Macdonalds is over the road which is handy as we sit in there and have a coffee and use their wifi for free.

See you next year Brisa Sol, I shall be back!!!
