Beautiful food! I had the pork fillet and my boyfriend had the rabbit. Both delicious! Definitely want to come back! Service was quick and the owner was very friendly.

“Great traditional family-run restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

This is the kind of authentic, traditional restaurant you dream of finding when you are on holiday.
We ate here twice and had the same main course both times as we enjoyed it so much. It was Arroz Monkfish - a kind of soupy tomato paella with monkfish, prawns and clams - absolutely delicious. Huge pan of it for two - we were absolutely full. However, we did manage to share a dessert each night and recommend the chocolate cake (like a fondant) and the creme brûlée - homemade like everything else.

The owner is the waiter and his wife is the chef. His lovely smile of recognition when we came back the second night was really heart-warming.

Come early (around 7pm) or book. The restaurant is always booked out later in the evening (8.30 onwards) so you are not likely to get a table if you turn up much after 7pm.

“good food but had better”

WE did enjoy the food at this restaurant and it is busy every night. We found the service a little rushed and every thing comes with fries which is disappointing.

“The best yet!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant after seeing it was rated no 2! Unfortunately the first try we were unable to get a table so booked for the next evening. After finishing our meal we instantly booked again for our last night.
The service and food was both outstanding and yes it can be a bit slow which normally irritates me but the fact that it is run by a husband and wife with one in the kitchen and the other on the floor made me forget about that!
The chocolate cake is a must!!!!!!
My only wish is that we had tried it sooner as I am pretty sure we might have went there every night!!!!!
