“Fantastic all inclusive break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Was very impressed with the resort, staff and food . Went with an open mind after reading a few of the negative comments but this proved to be unfounded. The food choices I thought were spot on as i hate too much choice , there were always different choices from lunch and at dinner and didn't see the same dish twice in the 5 days that we stayed - The fish dishes and pasta together with the salad bar was superb and loved the house wines. Well done chefs !!
Yes the Apple bar is tiny , but once the warmer evening weather is here there will be plenty of room outside on the terraces. The bar/ restaurant staff are an absolute credit !!

Loved the age range of visitors , most of which seemed to be from the uk . It's a resort for everyone to enjoy .

As we were leaving the hotel seemed to be gearing up to the high season by bringing in more tables and chairs to the pool bar which improved seating lots and I`m sure more sunbeds will be on there way too.

What I thought was great :
Was the free bottled water - individual or large bottles included in the AL .
The full English breakfast choice.
Good vegetarian options.
No charge for pool towels.
All inclusive option as soon as you arrive and from when you leave - excellent !

The only things I would loved to see improved : is the lighting being turned on at night around the paths and pools and the choices of cakes added to the all inclusive afternoon snack menu and you know us "English" love our afternoon tea !

Room Tip: All rooms seemed lovely. Some are further away from the main areas but you can walk through the reso...

Me and my hubby decided to go kid free for a couple of nights and was cheaper to go abroad instead of go local And obviously guguaranteed sun :). went for 3 nights end of April till 1st May. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment
Was absolutely beautiful clean and spacious. We had two bedroom two bathrooms one each no fighting. Kitchen fully equipped with everything dishwasher fridge freezer micro wave hob oven cutlery plates etc. We went all inclusive. Breakfast was lovely hash brows bean eggs sausages bacon mushroom etc We didn't eat the meat as we only eat halal but there was fish and veggie option were delicious. Fresh salad pasta rice etc. Lovely cakes and fresh fruit for deserts. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside I would say if I was being picky would say wifi should have been free had to pay 3 euros for an hour. We went as a couple but would definitely go back and take our kids they would love. They have a shuttle bus which takes you into old town and beach only sits 8 people but the driver kept returning til everyone was gone. We has a lovely time and very much worth it truly is heaven on earth.

This is our 4th time at Eden. Excellent place to visit. This time we had requested easy access due to walking problems. Our appt was not on ground level which we had expected but we were also put in a cul de sac at the bottom of a hill. On our first day staff were not overly helpful but we mentioned again our dissapointment and the young man said we could have been moved. If only they had read my request in the first instance.

Room Tip: If you are not happy with your room go see the reception staff before you unpack

Probably the best apartment I have stayed in . Very modern, spacious and well appointed. The site looks attractive and is well kept. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. No complaints about any of the above. The site was developed as a time share originally which would explain the high specifications of the apartments. It might also explain the inadequate communal areas and small bar. There was nowhere to sit in comfort to enjoy a coffee or drink in the sun. By day you could sit at the plastic tables by the pool bar and enjoy equally plastic food or at night time you could either go to the kiosk bar which was noisy and echoed from the sound of machines and televisions or go to the Apple bar upstairs which had no atmosphere and a few high stools to sit on. The restaurant was struggling with numbers and queues formed at one stage. Breakfast was fine but the food at other meals was, at best ,uninspiring and lacking in choice. I have had all inclusive holidays in many resorts and would always defy people to find at least something they liked in the choice offered but here was different. We wouldn't return as we spent most of the time off the site due to the poor daytime facilities. We don't go on holiday to sit in an apartment however nice it is.

We came here as a family with young children to recharge during the school holidays. This place has the potential to be a great place. The staff at reception are working relentlessly, the management are quick in responding to your problems and the restaurant staff are lovely. What let's this place down very badly is the lack of 'adequate' cleaning. The curtains and blinds in our apartment were filthy, the windows were grim and the air conditioning wasn't working. The poor guy who drives the shuttle bus is also their maintenance man and we had to wait a long time for him to get to us. The bar that opens at 8pm should be for adults only as it was full of screaming kids and you could not have a quiet drink. The pool also needs cleaning. I try to always give positive reviews but found it hard to on this occasion and feel saddened by our experience.

Eden resort has the potential to be a really great place and readers of this review should definitely give this place a chance. It is not an awful place but adequate cleaning is a big thing for us. I am sure the Eden Resort Management are aware of all of the problems and are doing what they can to resolve them.

This is written in my opinion only based on the apartment that we stayed in.
