“Excellent Stay, booked to go again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

This hotel really is faultless. We had a brilliant stay here over the new year. Rooms spotless. Decor fantastic. Buffet breakfast plentiful. Evening meal we had once was very good with a free bottle of wine and a lunch one day - quality of the food really good. The staff can not do enough for you. The location is perfect. We look forward to returning next new year.

Just returned from 1 weeks stay over Christmas.
The staff could not have been more helpful from the moment we arrived with lots of useful local tips (such as the cheap buses to use!)
Rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice both hot and cold.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room. If you need more, just ask at reception
Hotel has a great small beach about 5 mins walk away.
Hotel is located near lots of bars and restaurants but without being too close to cause a problem with noise.
Bus stop 200m away for bus into old town (only 1.40 euros fare).
The famous (or infamous!) strip is 15mins walk away.
Overall the hotel has a modern, clean feel with some spectacular areas such as the 5 storey central atrium.
Perhaps the best recommendation is that we will definitely be returning!!!!

Room Tip: room 225 has great views from the quieter side of the hotel

Staying at this beautiful hotel was our salvation in what would otherwise have been a total washout (weather wise) holiday in October. The design is outstanding and the whole place is spotless. Our room was amazing also. Very nice friendly staff and fantastic food - breakfast and evening meal. The only criticism I have is that I would have liked a little more going on in the evening. The bar was always very quiet and I'm sure more people would have stayed and spent their money in the hotel bar if there had been some form of entertainment. However this would not deter me from recommending this hotel or returning myself - it was superb.

We stayed at the Aqua Pedros dos Bicos in November 2013, after staying in Hotel Cerro Alagoa & the Brisa Sol Hotel, Aqua Pedros dos Bicos has to be the worst hotel & certainly not 4 star service from them. Rooms are on the small side and the balcony the size of a postage stamp, not much space to move out there.. Beds were nice and firm that's one good point.
Went to complain as there was only 2 towels in the bathroom and was called a thief by the Receptionist Sara Costa, I complained to Joao costa the Manager and his response was a joke, leave her alone she is new was the just of the reply NOT EVEN A SORRY!

On another note Breakfast was rubbish, Not much on offer egg, crap bacon, boiled egg & tomato
Plenty of the Healthy option or you could have fruit, melon or orange.

Could not wait till we left

Will never be back at this hotel avoid at all costs

The hotel is spectacular, with stunning views of Albufeira, staff are so friendly from the cleaners to the management and the breakfast is very good.
We booked B&B as I had done my research and other people on trip adviser didn't rate the evening meals, the breakfast filled us for the day and ate out in the evening. The hotel is situated next to the strip and there is plenty of restaurants, cafe bars and snack bars. It's the first time and we will be coming back again

I had a 2-night stay over Christmas-2013 in this beautiful 4 star modern hotel, which is now 5 years old. It was inexpensive in my flight-hotel package deal. There are plenty of restaurants close by (as well as the in house restaurant) and the beach is a 10-minute walk away. A lovely breakfast was to be had from 7am. My single room had twin beds and looked out onto the street but was away from the central entertainment area, which was perfect. The not so loud entertainment finishes at 9.30-10pm so it isn’t late. Piped music is in the hallway and there is a small lift to get to your room. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helped with the few faults in my room, even offering to move me. My air-con didn’t heat well, the push down bath plug didn’t work so was immediately repaired; the flickering wall lights were also fixed. Oura beach, which is where the hotel is situated, is 10 mins in a taxi to Albufeira where I attended a Christmas service at 11am and enjoyed the sites of the old town and a beachfront lunch. The hotel itself is beautiful and pool area divine. The weather didn’t permit me to be poolside but I’m sure it’s relaxing in the summer. They have regular cabaret entertainers each night at the bar and this hotel is away from the clubs, pubs and busy nightlife of Albufeira. The staff were happy to reconfirm my transfers to the airport and to assist my every need but the only disappointing thing was having to pay for poor quality wifi (which is easily accessed in the cake shop across the road for free). I always book a massage if there is a spa, which wasn’t a spa as such, but massage rooms where I had the most divine relaxing massage by the spa manager. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay Aqua Pedra dos Bicos Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Make sure your room is not above the entertainment area. The cabaret finishes at 9.30pm but can be h...

This hotel is gorgeous, modern, clean and lovely staff. The room was a basic one on the 3rd floor overlooking the front of the hotel with a side view of the sea from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We bought teabags, milk and sugar as there was only 2 teabags, a little sugar in the room and a couple of milks in the fridge. They did not get replaced. The breakfasts were ok but the quality of the sausage was not very good, also some days there was not any bacon. We would stay there again if we are in Albufeira again.
