Aqueduto is situated quite far out of the main centre, but it is well worth the walk! It’s hidden away near the aqueduct- we almost walked past it.
It’s a very modern building, all white and trendy glass light fittings. There are 2 main rooms and a separate smoking room-filled with giant urns; it looks the prettiest room but smells like an ashtray!
The food is amazing-everything was fresh and super tasty. It’s very rich so make sure you are starving before you go! We had cheese, bread and pate to start the meal-we have enjoyed lots of great cheese in the area but this was by far the creamiest. For starters, I had mushroom soup-so full of flavour and creamy. My husband had eggs with chorizo-again delicious and flavoursome. For mains I had caramelised ham and rice-this was delicious but very rich-the sauce was super sweet and even the rice was buttery rich. But very tasty!!! My husband had duck in a fruit sauce with rice-again very tasty but sweet and rich. We definitely didn’t need a dessert!
We had coke and a beer, bill came to around 55 Euros which was great for what we had. A great place for a special occasion
