Piparoza was a restaurant that a friend advised me to go. The first impact was good: nice tables, nice service, a great diversity of wines from Alentejo region, mainly...
But then came Pedro, the restaurant owner, who gave us a whole different experience of the place. Pedro is very nice and kind and lives in the region, so he knows a lot about its culture and traditions, and likes to share his knowledge with others.
Dinner was excellent! We started with something traditional for starters, and then chose something not very regional but still very 'yummy': Wellington steak. I must say the meet was incredibly tender, it melted in your mouth!
We chose Quinta do Mouro 2006 (red) to drink.
All in all it's a must go place for those who want to have the best meal in Evora.
