“Two sides to Jamon Jamon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

Great reviews from TA and local residents. Booked early at the Grill one weekday to find we were the only table so zero atmosphere for us. Starters looked better than they tasted....The salad and the king prawns. Both the prawns and our main course steak tasted as if the grill should be cleaned, so a bit off putting. The service was slow bearing in mind we were the only customers. When we left we found that Jamon Jamon Restaurant (serving Tapas) adjacent was busy...so our mistake in booking the wrong of side Jamon Jamon early evening.
Understand however that the Valentine's Evening in the Grill was excellent value for money, with a great atmosphere, so maybe we should give Jamon Jamon another try another day.

Enjoyed the ambiance, cuisine, and service. Choice of tasty tapas or a selection of various meats at very good value.

“Absolutely superb, hence. Two visits in 8 days”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

We visited San Juan on its superb Wednesday market day in January. Having previously eaten in the Tapas bar restaurant at Jamon Jamon we were keen to see the Flamenco dance show on Sunday night. Sadly it was fully booked but we were guided next door to the Jamon Jamon grill restaurant where a Flamenco show was scheduled for Saturday night. We were advised to be seated and have our meals ordered by 7.30pm - good advice as the tables were all all full by 7.30 and the atmosphere was good. The dancers were superb, mesmeric with their flair and skill. The added bonus was the dance show came at no extra cost to the normal menu prices. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were attentive, exceptionally well mannered and all spoke good English. The food was first class, with our shared seafood and meat Paella dish costing only €27. Starters should not have been chosen as the Paella was more than enough for two hearty eaters! We spent only €50 for two courses with 3 glasses of wine and were entertained. It was so good we went back the following Saturday with friends.....
