“Excellent Site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We have just returned from a 2 night break in a camper van at this site. We stopped on the adult only meadow. It is a brilliant site and can't fault anything. The facilities are top standard and always clean. I haven't been to a camp site with such lovely shower and toilet block.
You also have use of a fridge, freezer and a microwave which are located in the washing up area.
The grass is well kept and very short. There are picnic tables around which can be moved for you to use. We had a fully serviced pitch which was huge and also had our own picnic table as well as water, electric and drainage.
When we arrived the staff were friendly and informative, they also provided us with places to eat as we didn't arrive till late.
I will definitely return to this site and will recommend to others.

Just returned today from an eight day stay. Great location smack in the centre of Kent, easy access to all parts North and South Kent. From the moment we pulled up outside their reception you got the feeling this was a great site. I am not one for sentimental gush but you were welcomed with an enthusiastic smile and Hello. We were assisted onto the pitch a hardstanding at that. Not expected when booked. Straight away we could see the well kept green, the toilet facilities absolutely fab. They had a reasonably well stocked.shop. This site has two parks, the Adult Park on the South side where the reception is. This park was relatively busy. On the other side of the lane opposite the reception was the family park entry via a coded gate ( for childrens safety). This park also had the static homes located there. there was a large pay area consisting of adventure park and a 5 a side size football pitch with goal posts. There was a games room with table tennis , Skittles ( something I haven't seen for years) Air hockey, Pool, and large Tv. To be honest they have put everything in place for the enjoyment of their clients.

This is one of my top three sites for comfort, facilities, warm hearted staff, layout and maintenance.
I would recommend this site for all the above and the tariff which is very reasonable.

It’s always great to receive reviews and a true accolade to get such a wonderful one from such a ‘seasoned’ camper and reviewer. It was lovely to have you here on the Park and great to hear that you think we’re doing such a good job. It would be so nice to see you back at Broadhembury before not too long. Once again, we have donated £1 to Demelza House Children’s Hospices as a result of your review – Thank you!

Just returned from another fantastic weekend camping at Broadhembury, we go here most weekends as we love the site, we use the adult only top meadow, the facilities are top rate and always spotlessly clean, we cannot fault the site at all for anything, staff are always very helpful and very friendly and will always try to help with whatever you need, we will be back as usual in a couple of
weeks, sorry to leave again today

A great site from the moment we were checked in by Leslie, and shown to our pitch and sited by Lee . This was our 2nd visit to the site and can't fault it . The toilet and shower block in the adults only area we stayed in were spotless clean with lashes of hot water and lovely and warm .The pitches are of a good size nice and flat with fresh water and waste disposal very near . We requested the same pitch as our previous visit as we knew that this received the sun all day and they were more then happy to obliged. The staff were all very friendly and a special mention to Clive who used to greet us everyday with a cheerful hello and a wave as he patroled the site on his bike . Definitely a site to return to.

Easy to find and to access, this site was everything we had read about it, all good! Reception area full of information regarding the area and loved the walks book, from which you could take a copy. Loo block stunning, exceptionally clean at all times with unlimited hot water and great hair dryers. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. A lovely touch was the herb garden, really liked that idea. The weather sadly was particularly wet, but didn't spoil us getting out and about. We used the bus service that runs just down the lane from the site, into Ashford, the drivers are very obliging and will drop you close to the lane back to the site. The only down side, and it is only a small one, when collecting drinking water there is a particularly nasty smell very close by.

Thank you so much for your review of our site. I will pass on your lovely comments to our great team of staff who work so hard to make the Park such a fab place to stay. It is also great to hear that you found the local bus service into Ashford so satisfactory - we are so fortunate that there is so much to do and explore around our local area.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to trace which area of the Park you stayed on and, despite all our efforts, have not been able to find any 'nasty' smells around the Park. It is such a shame we didn't know about this when you were with us because we would have been very keen to investigate the cause. If you do read this response, I would be very grateful if you would contact Reception and help us to investigate further and hopefully find an explanation!
As a result of your review we have donated another £1 to Demelza Children's Hospices - thank you!
