“A perfect relaxing holiday with an outsanding host”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2011

We stayed at the resort during the low season and even though there were not many guests we received amazing hospitality. The resort is right on the beach and perfect for people wishing to unwind away from the crowds of the city but close enough to enjoy the restraunts, bars and shops of mykonos town.
Andreas, the manager, is always willing to help and give advice about whatever is needed and went out of his way to help us, always with a great big smile on his face . His frappe is probably one of the best we've ever tasted.
It is genuinly a special place and unique in its relaxed atmosphere and we highly recomend it.

I went with 9 friends for 9 days on the gorgeous island of Mykonos. Panormos Village is on a quiet bay on the north part of the island. We went at the end of May and almost everyday of the holiday was blue skies and warmth and only a few of the days were windy. The beach next to the resort is one of the best on the island with sand and not pebbles. The view from the swimming pool is of the beach and it is mesmorising. The rooms are clean and are serviced everyday. The owners Andreas and Ivangilia are so welcoming and gave us so much individual attention to make us feel at home and the food in their restaurant is very traditional. You will need to hire a car or a quad bike, however Andreas organises for the hire company to come and pick you up. Nothing is a problem for them.
I would recommend Panormos Village for families or friends wanting ultilmate relaxation.

Driving out of town we weren't sure what to expect other then what we had read. When you roll up to Panormos Village the resort really isn't. relevant until you get out of your car and walk to the reception desk. This place is gorgeous and is everything we had hoped for in a hotel on a small greek island. The owner Andreos was in the middle of putting on the final touches to prep his place for the season and he apologized for the work being done. Did I mention how nice this spot is? Andreos got us signed in and over to our room. The room was very clean and had been recently renovated. The new paint, rain head shower and picturesque view over-looking a small fishing bay was everything we had hope for. We strolled the hotel for a few moments, met Andreos and he bought us a beer. We spent the next half hour picking his brain on where to eat and what to see. Everything was very helpful. Roberto, his chef prepared us a really nice meal and we had a great time. Andreos did everything to ensure our stay was everything we had hoped for. Service really does make a difference and we will definitely come back to Panormos Village if we return to Mykonos and would definitely recommend this place to our friends. Great value, great staff, a great time.

I stayed here with a friend and you can hire a motorbike for 15 euros and go in to the main town. Lovely resort next to a natural beach. Would recommend if you are looking for a break away from the noise but you can drive or take a taxi in to the main centre which is 10 mins away.

Panormos village was a terrific place to stay on the beautiful island of Mykonos. The location is gorgeous, with views of beach & mountains from each balcony. The owners went out of their way to be helpful, offering us rides into town at times and being very gracious hosts.

The beach was a two minute walk from our room, was beautiful and not overcrowded. A beach bar provided comfy beds to lay out on, and music with a nice vibe. We didn't eat at the beach bar, but ate at another restaurant right next to Panormos village - it was empty but tasty, and well priced. The Panormos village food itself was pretty good - good breakfast, delicious salads for lunch, less exciting dinners.

A recent trip to Mykonos was made memorable by Andreas and his family. Panormos Village is a family run hotel overlooking a secluded beach on the north side of the Island. Evangelia, Andreas' wife, picked us up from the airport. Instantly we could feel the warmth and hospitality of the family. Our room was overlooking the blue Aegean Sea. It was basic but comfortable.

Andreas helped arranged for a car rental which was dropped off for us at the hotel. It was 45 Euro per day included full insurance. We explored the Island and checked out their best beaches on the south shore (i.e., Super Paradise).

At mealtime, Andreas unleashed his secret weapon, Roberto, the head chef who's a family friend. The only way to deal with this magician is to let him take you on a culinary journey with all his wonders. “Roberto, just surprise us!” His cooking was humble, delicate and honest. I could taste the freshness of each ingredient. Let's just say that we didn't eat anywhere else on the Island.

When it was time to leave, we packed our suitcase with Andreas' homemade Olive Oil. He grows his own olive trees at his family home in Crete. Evangelia took us back to the airport and gave us big hugs. This trip was truly a memorable one because of the people whom we met along the way.

Mykonos itself is a beautiful almost entirely unspoilt island with plenty of little beaches a lovely town with lots of little maze like streets, whitewashed buildings as well as uber trendy restaurants alongside traditional tavernas (with the added attraction of various pelicans!!!). But the gem has got to be Panormos Village. What an amazing place, Andreas and Evangelina could not have been more helpful we were so very sad to leave. The food was first rate, we had some of our best meals of our holiday here, looking out over the fantastic bay. Some nights we got back really late and it was never a problem to serve us anything we wanted. The atmosphere was so wonderful and created by the genuine welcome and warmth of these very special people. We had a fantastic room which had recently been refurbished, extremely clean with everything thing we could ask for. Andreas and Evangelina ensured we had one of the best Greek holidays we have ever experienced. If you stay anywhere in Mykonos stay here you will not be disappointed, we will definitely return. I’m astounded that another review on this site was so disparaging, I really cannot comprehend how people could not be blown away by this gem of a place and the warmth of the owners. The pool was small but perfect for a cooling dip. The accommodation, food, service and that special something that’s hard to put into words are all here. We arrived along with a some other guests for a very special wedding – the church was a few miles up the road and the reception was held in the swanky restaurant on the beach, when the bus to take us to the church failed to turn up on time they quickly began ferrying all the guests to the church in their own cars and when my not too clever boyfriend ran out of petrol Andreas quickly produced a bottle of fuel to help us out – where else would you get this sort of kindness. We loved everything about our stay at Panormos Village – this is a special place with special people to make your holiday one you will always treasure.

Jo and Simon

PS. Andreas does the best Mojitos and Greek Salad on the island.
