We went here for the afternoon,it had an ice skating rink which was really good and lots of little stalls around for drinks and selling hats and scarfs, little, wooden Christmas ornaments and much more. They have several little restaraunts around the square which are fairly reasonable.themonly problem was that they has road, works coming into, the, town and we were diverted which threw us a bit. You need also to remember if you are, leaving, between 7-8 at night you cannot get out through the Menin,Gate as they close the road for the nightly laying of the wreaths for the fallen soldiers,of the 1st World War. Go and attend it if you have the time it is very moving And is literally packed every night, with lots,of different Regiments taking, part form all over the world.
