Close to everything right in the town centre, with staff who will take the time to make sure you're happy with everything. Large, airy rooms, and a good continental breakfast.

What more can you ask for? Not a lot. Fully deserves its 5 out of 5.

Having just returned from two nights in Ypres at the Albion Hotel I only have positive comments to make about the hotel and general area. Given its position it is a great place to explore the surrounding area. The architecture around Ypres is fantastic ( except for one hotel in the same street that looks to modern and is not in keeping).

If you do not have a car or you want more detailed information I would suggest going on one of the organised tours. The hotel staff were very helpful, on arrival providing various leaflets of things to do and a map of the area.

The hotel itself was very well presented.
You even get your own alarm clock. The church across the road starts its chimes at 7.00am which is the perfect time to be getting up for breakfast.

I've been many times in different hotels in Ieper and I can definitely say, that Albion Hotel is my favorite! I'm not talking about the number of stars and other classifications. I'm talking about the way that I feel there. The warm attitude, the fresh flowers everywhere, the clean, cosy and tidy rooms, the plentiful breakfast and many other things make the stay there a real pleasure!

We have stayed at The Albion Hotel three times now and on every occassion we have been warmly greeted and helped with whatever we needed to ask about. The rooms are pleasant and warm and the buffet breakfast gave a good choice.
The hotel is well located being just a few minutes walk from the main square.

“Best in Belgium”

There is no better place to stay if you wish to visit the moving war graves and trenches near Ypres than the Albion Hotel. Warm efficient welcome, very nice room (could do with a couple of paintings on the walls) and excellent breakfast. They recommended the Restaurant Ecurie to eat and we had a meal that a top London restaurant would have been happy to serve. We hope to stay again.
