Lovely to look at, and don't miss the McCrae connection, but also take the time to look at the details on the headstones in the beautifully tended cemetery. There is a young VC - who visits his grave, I wonder? - and a line of young soldiers all from the same town in Lancashire, all killed on the same day and imagine what that must have meant. It's worth taking the time to look and read. Its an astonishing place - as all these cemeteries are, from the vast Tyne Cot to the tiny ones dotted around the area.
