We went here for pre-dinner drinks and snacks and it was really nice. Friendly staff, good wine and small, but cosy

“Gem of a wine bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Tucked away behind the fish market, this is a great place to stop for a reviving glass or two. The menu of wines by the glass changes daily and the knowledgeable owners are more than happy to talk through the selections and advise based on personal preferences. The building itself has a wonderful, warm atmosphere although it is small and so either book or get their early!

“Brilliant little bar - be sure to book!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

This place is perfect - just what a wine bar should be! Cosy decor, simple food (cheese, charcuterie, etc.) and a list of wines which is not overwhelming and also reasonably priced. Went on Sunday night when they have live music which made for a great atmosphere. We found the staff pleasant, friendly and very smiley, despite the place being packed out.

“Enchanting little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Set in a tiny old guild house, this cozy little wine bar is the perfect mix of warm atmosphere and deliciousness. They have quite an extensive wine list and very knowledgeable staff to point you in the right direction if you need a suggestion. The menu has both tapas and large plates, so you can make your own adventure depending on how hungry you are. Add on top of that the lovely jazz music they were playing and you've got quite a fantastic place.
