“hospitality at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

We had previously booked a trip to Bruges and we due to stay in a four star hotel which we had to cancel. Looking for a moderately priced accommodation we came across Hamilton's and are so glad we did.
We can't recommend it enough and have left today feeling that we have left friends as we were so well looked after.
Lots of attention to detail, comfort in every way, help with all aspects of our trip unexpected treats in our room, fantastic breakfast's with homemade bread and cakes Ollie and Nicola even provided cold beer after a long day touring
From the time we were picked up at the station till we were dropped off on the way we could not fault this accommodation and the owners
My partner and I have travelled considerably and stayed in many luxury hotels but we could not say we had better service and care than we got here. Good luck Nicola and Ollie and wish you all the best for your future

Hi Ollie and Nicola thankyou for looking after us and making our stay so enjoyable. Hamiltons is a lovely place to call home with a large bedroom, huge comfy bed and pillows and tasteful new ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is HUGE and presented by the lovely Nicola who is just delightful + can give useful tourist tips that the locals don't even know about. Like the viewing area on the second level of the Bruges Historium where we overlooked the central square and thousands of spectators for the start of the 99th Flanders Bike Race.
I can only give positives about Hamiltons so book yourself a room you won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for a charming, cozy little B&B to stay at while in Bruges, this is definitely the one to choose. Nicola & Ollie have created a delightful place to stay with all kinds of very thoughtful and wonderful touches every where you look. Their warm hospitality is extraordinary. Nicola's delicious breakfast choices are homemade and/or locally-sourced and presented beautifully in the glorious stained glassed dining area set in a former Victorian hat shop. On my second day when I had to leave early to take the train, Nicola drove me to the train station and sent me off with a lovingly prepared & amazing "to go" breakfast boxes filled with fresh breads, cheese, yogurt, juice, water, jam, butter, etc, along with a lovely handwritten note to thank me for my stay....so sweet. You can definitely tell when someone loves what they are doing by these kind of gestures. Definitely recommend and hoping to return again soon!

We've just returned from a wonderful stay in Bruges, which was made even better by staying at Hamiltons. The location, comfort of the rooms and facilities were all great, but what really made it was the friendliness of the hosts - it really did feel like a home from home for the weekend. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail - our dietary requirements were catered for excellently (including in the delicious treats left in the room each day!). Even getting a lift from the train station was a nice touch that made a big difference.

Overall we couldn't fault anything with the B&B - highly recommend!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at; from the location through to warmth and friendliness of the owners, we couldn't speak more highly of our experience.

The B&B was charming; five minutes walk from the market place and just up the road from one of the most picturesque spots in Bruges. The room itself was well presented, very clean and had a perfect en-suite shower room. Each day the owners would leave a small baked treat on the mantle-piece which just added to the experience.

Breakfast was fantastic, continental with a twist! Yoghurt and fruit followed by pastries, breads, cured meats and special cheeses (sourced daily).

Such attention to the small details turned a good stay into a great stay.

The owners also offer a service as part of your stay where they will pick you up and drop you off at the station when you arrive/leave.

We were made to feel so welcome and cannot wait to come back.

Thank you again!!!

Just returned from 3 nights in this delightfully run Bed and Breakfast. Perfect location close to the centre. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotless. The bed huge and the shower excellent. My only complaint is the size of the breakfast supplied by the charming hostess..... Far too many tempting local edibles that just had to be eaten!!! I would thoroughly recommend and certainly would stay here every time we visit in the future. C Park, Faversham, Kent.
