I booked an overnight stay in this hotel from their website. The hotel is located in the center of town, footsteps away from the market square.

Our room was booked for a 2pm arrival, but we had to wait until 4pm to get into our room, where we were met a vacuum cleaner left by the cleaner. It took her about half an hour to realise this.

The bathroom door would not close properly, the carpets were filthy and the TV was stuck so high on the wall that lying in bed made it impossible to watch TV as the light shade was huge.

We paid €17 for parking. This can only be described as something out of a horror film. The garage was next to the hotel, covered with two big wooden boards and locked with a chain and padlock. Inside were big stone pillars and other guests' cars. Parking your car involves driving past these cars and pillars trying to avoid scratching your or someone else's car. REALLY NOT ENJOYABLE.

The staff were friendly, but did take their time in serving us as they were quite busy.

The one shining star in the hotel is the breakfast, served in the basement. The buffet breakfast was full of goodies, such as cereals, breads, eggs, hams, bacon, beans, all kinds of juices and even champaigne!

For the future I would definitely go back to Brugge, but spend a few extra euros and stay in the IBIS which is a 5 minute walk away!

Sister-in-law booked this from the States for all of us. Sent me the details electronically - looked of reasonable quality.

Hotel is in an excellent location - and the linen was very clean.

However, having stayed at various Travelodges in the UK - I can safely say they are of a better standard than this Hotel.

If you get given the keys for Rooms 415 or 417 - hand them straight back - they are up in the attic - and I personally don't even think they are fit for the staff to live in, let alone paying customers - at a rate of 100€ for these rooms - it's far too expensive. The bathroom was probably a metre square - the curtains were literally hanging off - it was completely and utterly unacceptable. We were subsequently moved - and appreciated the professionalism of the staff on the desk.

The room we were moved to was slightly better - bathroom much more generous in proportion - but the shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold - there was no mediocre temperature - I have to confess - I need to feel clean.

All in all - it served it's purpose - we only wanted a night - and spent all our time out in the beautiful city of Bruges - so for a place to put your head down - it's tolerable - but on a return trip - which we are planning in December - we will most definitely not be using this Hotel.

The hotel has a great location (steps aways from the main square) but it tends to rest on that. My room was adequqte but the bathroom was a plastic modular add-on which made it feel very cheap. The staff were competent but far from welcoming and at time bordering on rude. The reception area is awkwardly designed and is also a bike rental office, which meant that hotel guests were competing with back-packing bicyclicts for attention. Reception is closed from 10 pm to 6 am (which I think is unacceptable for a three-star hotel) so to enter at night you have to go round the back and feel like a burglar. There is no luggage storage area so luggage is left outside the reception area where anyone can take it.
All round it felt very much like the hotel operations were designed to maximise profits rather than guests' enjoyment, and was far below what I expected of a three-star hotel. Also very poor value for money, especially at inflated Easter rates.

This hotel is in a fantastic location just off the Markt Square next to the Belfry. Everything is just a short walk away you can't fault the location and its close to the guy that sells chips in front of the Belfry so you don't have far to go if you are hungry!

The reception area was tiny and not very welcoming and looked similar to the reception areas of hostels. Staff were friendly and helpful even when they gave us the wrong key to the wrong room.

The room they had given us the wrong key for was tiny and the door hit the wall before it even opened all the way. When you walked in there was a bunk bed to the left, with a desk and chair opposite with about less than a metre of space between the two. The bathroom door was immediatly behind the entrance door it could only be accessed once the entrance door was closed - that is how tiny it was. It was a cute room but seemed a little impractical for two.

We had booked a superior room and it was a lovely room with lots of character, when we got the right key. It overlooked the bar/restaurant next door which wasn't noisy at all. The bed covers are a bit tired and they do let the overall look of the room down. Otherwise it was a pretty nice room for what we paid for. The bathroom was small, clean and modern. However there was no shower curtain so once you had a shower the whole bathroom was soaked through and I'm not sure it was meant to be a wet room!

The corridors in the hotel are narrow and badly lit, the stairs are steep. Which was actually quite off putting and again reminded you of a hostel.

Despite the reception and corridors this is a nice hotel if you want to be in the centre of Bruge. It's an average hotel that deserves its 3 stars and no more. Breakfast is included but we never made it for that.

There is a somewhat of a dodgy car park (reminiscent of a cave) where you can leave the car overnight for 17 euros. Personally if we stayed here again I would leave my car in one of the many NCP car parks nearby as they are cheaper, cleaner and more secure.

You can rent bikes from this hotel and the reception does get quite packed, with people hiring them out first thing in the morning when you're trying to check out.

Good average hotel, excellent location! Worth a stay if on a budget, but don't expect too much.

My room was a tiny garret up 3 flights of narrow stairs with no lift and nobody to help with luggage. Were I not a small person I would have knocked myself out on the rafters at least 6 times. The room was infested with mosquitoes but the worst thing about it was the smell - a disgusting, all pervasive smell of damp/stale food/sewage. Breakfast was OK but very difficult to find the basement room where it was served as there was little signage and the hotel is like a maze. Staff were extremely curt and unhelpful and the guy on reception told me to wait at a bus stop for a bus to the station where the station buses did not stop, which nearly resulted in my missing my train and plane. I do not recommend anybody to stay at this place.
