“Exceptional service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Sought this out after reading the great reviews on here, was very easy to find using google maps, just a 2 min walk from Markt square. The staff are instantly welcoming and very friendly and attentive. Me and my partner went for the farmer breakfast that gave you scrambled eggs with lovely soft, warm bread rolls, tea, freshly squeezed orange juice and a wee little cake as a 'starter'. Sadly, I was very ill on the ferry crossing over to Bruges so didn't manage to eat much of my food at all and the ladies in the cafe were very concerned that their eggs were not nice! I felt very bad and told them it was no fault of the food and they were very nice about it. My partner said it was delicious! I was very sad that I couldn't manage to sample a cake here!

“What a little gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Set in one of Brugge's many side streets off the market square, it's well worth seeking it out. The delightful tea room type surroundings in bright colours which are matched by the excellent service and food. The nicest lady we met in Belguim welcomed us (I think the owner) and nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast we ate was extremely good value, well presented and tasty.
If in Brugge again we would certainly make a beeline for this little gem.

Perfect place for breakfast. Really friendly service and some of the best homemade jam you will ever taste. Well worth stopping for a coffee and cake.

“Fabulous and dog friendly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

What a treat! Delightful staff, warm welcome and delicious food. We asked if our smallish but v cute dog could come inside ;) No problem as long as he sat under the table, which we were happy to comply with. Really pleasant afternoon, divine coffee and cakes and English magazines.
A very nice haven, thank you
