“Perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Huyze Weyne was a last minute booking we made...and I'm so glad we did! They were so accommodating. Katherine made special breakfasts for us, gave great traveling recommendations and even allowed us to park our vehicle in their garage. The location was perfect. A few minutes' walk from everything, a park with a playground across the street and excellent restaurant choices close by. The house and rooms were immaculate and extreemly spacious. It's tough to find bed and breakfasts that are so welcoming to small children....Katherine and her family made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to go back!! A new B&B very close to the centre of Bruges. The rooms are extremely large, immaculate and very tastefully furnished. The hostess, Katherine will ensure your stay is relaxed and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she is simply wonderful. The breakfast is excellent and served in a very pretty room overlooking the family garden.

The overall atmosphere is such that you feel like you are visiting friends who just happen to live in a beautiful townhouse in the middle of Bruges, and as with any visit to friends, you are always a bit sad to leave.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

My husband and I embarked upon an impromptu weekend in Brugges at the end of April. After searching the internet for some time for somewhere available at such short notice (same night!), and affordable, we dropped on the B&B Huyze Weyne. It was only when we arrived that we found out just how lucky we had been. Firstly, the B&B was absolutely gorgeous , secondly there's currently only 2 rooms, and thirdly the room had been booked but cancelled at the last minute. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. There was no TV or radio in the room, or tea/coffee making facilities, and it could have benefited from a bedside table..... but these were the only mild negatives about the place. The bathroom was well equipped with 2 basins, a free standing bath and huge power shower. Breakfast was just fabulous - large selection and hot food cooked to order - and the dining room was really lovely looking out onto the garden. The owners were so friendly and attentive. At the time we stayed they couldn't accept credit cards so we had to pay cash, we didn't mind but it would have been helpful to have been pre-warned. They had recently finished renovating the 2 bedrooms and public areas to a very impressive standard, and have another 2 bedrooms to do. The location was extremely convenient, and the price surprisingly reasonable given its proximity to the centre and the standard of accommodation. The restaurant around the corner (can't remember the name but it has cards at the B&B) was the icing on the cake of a perfect weekend. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Brugges! I imagine now that its no longer a secret we'll struggle to get in again ....... stay if you can! I can't recommend it enough!

We stayed one night in this beautiful house. The rooms are decorated with taste and style, the owners are very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the centre of Brugge. And in the morning the best breakfast ever!
So if your looking for a place to stay in Brugge, look no further!!

On a recent business trip to Bruges, I stayed at Huyze Weyne rather than going for a hotel room. Katrien and Filip, the owners of this Bed and Breakfast in the middle of Brugge, have done an outstanding job in renovating their house to a modern B&B. The rooms are very spacious, and the communal breakfast area makes you feel right at home while having a bite to eat before starting the day. I warmly recommend anyone to stay here for a few nights while they're visiting this marvelous city!
