Every room is different and has its own personality. Famous film was filmed in the streets around this hotel and the most famous film star stayed in this hotel. Food attention to detail were both five star. Stayed in room at the top.....enormous and great bathroom.

We stayed for three nights with our two children aged 12 & 9 in a beautiful 2nd floor room overlooking the canal. We booked through lastminute.com and upgraded 25euros a night to have the canal room. We booked to park in the courtyard which again had the same supplement.
We loved this hotel - from the sumptuous decorations to the tiny indoor pool, steamroom & sauna. The only cloud was the extortionate breakfast charge - really quite annoying. However you are spoilt for choice with other options only two minutes walk away. Bruges was gorgeous and a very easy hour and a half drive from Calais. There were tons of things to do for all of us. We will definitely return and stay in the same place. Bruges is the nicest place to go and shockingly close to the Eurotunnel. If you've never been before, Bruges is a genteel place oozing with history and culture - and the food and beer is amazing!

We stayed in hotel de tuilerieen Bruges with our friends. It wasn't our first time in Bruges. We got to the hotel after driving from lovely Antwerp, and it was such a nice landing to check in to de tuilerieen. The hotel is located next to one of the canals in a quiet street, in the heart of Bruges old city and has one front to the canal and one front to a beautiful court.
The interior decor is beautiful and warm. The hotel staff is very friendly and service oriented. Public areas are cozy, where you can relax have a drink, grab a snack or enjoy the cute little SPA with small swimming pool viewing the beautiful back court.
The hotel has two buildings perfectly merged into one complex – it's hard to notice that, except for the fact that rooms in one wing are designed in a more modern style and on the other wing they are more traditional and antic. So if you have any preference regarding room's design, don’t forget you can choose between two different styles. The rooms are maintained in high standards. They are clean and fresh and there is nothing outdated in them.
We had breakfast in the hotel – it was very nice.

We stayed at Hotel De Tuilerieen for a three night stay. This Hotel is located just outside the centre of Bruges and is in an excellent position. We had one of their Stable Rooms, which were just across a small courtyard in an annex to the main hotel and the room was nice and airy.
The main hotel is oldie worldie and has has excellent Bar and beautiful Breakfast & Dining areas. The Bar and Breakfast Room are at the front of the hotel and face out onto a very picturesque part of the internal canal, the Bar also has an open fire which must be excellent in the cold winter months.
Although we didn't eat in the main restuarant, during our stay, it was very nice with a lot of space between the well set tables. We were on a Bed & Breakfast package and were surprised at the selection of cereals cold meats & cheeses available at breakfast, please note you need to ask if you want a cooked breakfast.
The hotel also has a very small swimming pool and sauna area.
Overall we both enjoyed our stay and received excellent service from the friendly staff, we will definitely be returning again.
We have now been to Bruges on 3 occasions, and the overall experience, including value for money, is very good [providing you book via one of the numerous Hotel booking websites]. We used Travel Republic where we got this for under £100 per room per night including breakfast - an excellent saving over this hotel's normal cost.
Car parking is avaialble at this hotel at 25 Euros per night - seemed expensive but very secure and convenient.

we stayed 2 nights, me,my wife and our 3 years old sun, we had a room with view to the canal (adding 25 euro per night), the room is large , well designed , the bad is very good, service was good to. the hotel is in great location, 5 minutes walk from the main tower and square, we didnt eat at the hotal .
very nice choice to enjoy brugges spirit!
- we recommand to make reservation in advance with no comitmant , and to look again before arriving- for the same deal in cheaper price, we saved more than 200 euro .

I stayed at the Hotel De Tuilerieen earlier this month for two nights. Unfortunately not a romantic trip .. spending two nights in Brugge with my mother to celebrate her birthday! However this hotel definitely ticks a lot of boxes whoever you are travelling with, although I suspect young children and teenagers may not appreciate the charm of the place. Firstly, the location is fantastic, very central only a few minutes walk to nearly all of the main areas. Our room was a superior twin and overlooked the canal, which was really nice. Very spacious room and large bathroom. The bath was sssoo comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. Only negative thing to say about the bathroom is the hairdryer, which is one of these fitted to the wall wand affairs. If you have a thing about drying your hair - bring your own dryer. Did see en route to breakfast one day the room across from us, which had a four poster bed, which looked lovely. Beds are very very comfortable, you could easily do a John and Yoko and stay there all weekend! Breakfast isn't included in the price but we paid for it on both days. The room is very charming and the food is delicious. Choices were abundant and it was proper freshly squeezed orange juice. Breakfast isn't cheap at 25 euros each but it is worth it and it sets you up for the day. It had a small swimming pool, which is smaller than it looks on the website but again adequate. The steam room was very good and I enjoyed a pleasant half hour chilling there before getting ready for the evening. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so no comment, but the menu looked good. Again a very grand dining room. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has lots of charm, the glass in the windows at the front of the hotel is Murano from Venice. I would thoroughly recommend it. As I say, the position was great, the rooms were french chic style (not modern), which very nice. Prior to arriving the staff knew it was a birthday celebration and they even left a card and some chocolates for my mum, which was a nice touch. Finally, enjoyed a lovely meal in a charming restaurant Duc de Bourgogne, which is literally only 2-3 minutes walk - even managed to walk there in heels, which is no mean feat in Brugge with all the cobbles!
