This was definitely our worst meal in Brugge (and believe me, it had some competition). The worst part was the service - everything, from taking our order to bringing our wine, to bringing the bill took an age. It took 45 minutes and 3 requests to get our bill, and towards the end we were putting our coats on, shuffling our seats, and putting money down on the table. When we got it, it was wrong - the wine was 3 Euros cheaper than the menu - so we put down what we thought was right, and let them take it as a very small tip or the actual price of our food / drinks. From start to finish, no-one asked if we were happy with our food, no-one made eye-contact / kept track of our progress and the staff pretty much ignored us enough unless we physically placed ourselves in their path. The restaurant was quite busy but there were plenty of waiting staff for the number of covers.
I'm not Italian, but we visit Italy often and we eat a lot of Italian food. This was pretty bad - we would have been better off cooking at home. The pasta was doughy and heavy and the pasta sauce watery and with little flavour. We skipped desserts because there was nothing on the menu that suggested it was home-made, and even if the tiramisu etc were home-made, the heavy-handed approach to the pasta didn't suggest much hope for it.
I'd give this one star, but the food was pretty cheap by Brugge standards, the coffee good, the decor OK and I'm feeling generous. And it had an acceptable and affordable wine list. And the pizzas that passed by our table in our 30 minute wait for pasta looked OK.

I'm sorry but if the wine was 3 euro more then on the cart, you have to say it instead of saying nothing and complaining on the internet.

Saying that we didn't even look at you and never asked if the food was good i'm sorry but I can't believe it.
Because we try to make every client equally to each other and always ask minus 2 times if the food is good when they are eating and when they finished eating.
If the food wasn't good for you i'm sorry for it but it means it wasn't for your taste.
and l-saying you had to wait 45 minutes to receive your bill.
