“Very pleasant, good location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

Good location, at an easy walking distance from the center. Our room (nr 102) was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, in a pleasant dining room. Private, small parking, not included. Pleasant restaurant at a couple of minutes walk, Restaurant De Pepermolen.

Ideal location, easy to find with its own parking, be sure and book a parking place. Short walk to most of the main attarctions in Bruges. Nice friendly staff, good breakfast and great bar for a relaxing drink after a day out in Bruges. Compared to many of the other hotels in Bruges, good value for money too.

Picked the hotel based on reviews and price and was a good decision. Very well located easy walk to centre and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Helpful staff and good to have parking on-site which we used. Breakfast was good each day but the bar is especially good, very cool and chic and very friendly barmen. Nice jazzy sounds all the time. Would recommend the hotel and no problems with any of the facilities.

Stayed here recently for 4 nights for a family holiday.
Really nice hotel with a lovely bar.
Did not eat in hotel in the evening , but breakfast very nice.
Very clean hotel with a pool which was great for kids.

Staff were both polite and helpful.

My only problem which I am loathed to mention , but may help fellow light sleepers.

Our room was above a lovely water feature/pond and at nights this sounded like a bath being run in the ensuite bathroom.
The staff were very helpful and did switch it off at nights , but the water pump still kept me awake.
But overall it was a great stay !!!!!!

2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

We wanted to book three relaxing nights in a modern central hotel with a pool. We got central, and that was it. Our room was sub-standard, clearly not one of the refurbished and comfortable rooms advertised. It was noisy, swelteringly hot and required work, as we soon found out. Two days running, even with the 'do not disturb' sign in place, we were called from reception at 8, 9 and 10am, the answered call was then ended without a word spoken. We were then interrupted by a contractor wanting to do work in our room, whilst we were staying there. A very strange carry on indeed. This combined with the pool being out of order the entire visit, we were really disappointed. Unfortunately the staff did very little to improve our stay.

The location and breakfast were great. The hotel and staff could be a lot better.

We stayed three nights, and were most favourably impressed. Location, staff, breakfast and room comfort were great for the cost. And, even though overlooking one of the main roads in the old town, it was quiet.

A minor - they were having some wifi connectivity issues with our room, but the bar was a great place for it.

Two happy hours a night was an unexpected bonus, also. Definitely will stay again.
