“Lovely Hotel in a Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

We stayed at the Hotel Aragon for 2 nights and could not fault anything. We were greeted by a young male receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. He checked us in quickly and we went up to our room. We stayed in room 308 and it was great, a very good size. The bathroom was big too with a bath and shower. We also had a small balcony which looked out to the square in the distance. The room was spotlessly clean, we were very impressed! The breakfast was great, lots of choice, good quality food which was replenished regularly. We enjoyed taking our time filling up before our day out and about! Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again if I ever find myself in Bruges.

Room Tip: We stayed in 308 which is at the back of the hotel, so nice and quiet.

just spent three nights at this hotel, and would recommend it without any doubts.
Staff very helpful, room excellent, only thing was no kettle in room which would have been good and the location is excellent

Room Tip: take a travel kettle if you enjoy a cuppa

This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel Aragon and would highly recommend it. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The atmosphere was cosy and quiet, which suited us. It was nice to sit and have a quiet drink at their small evening bar, either before going to eat out or on return. Breakfast was very well presented with plenty of choice and it was constantly replenished as things started to run short. This time we stayed in a room in the annex, which although not in the main hotel, was as comfortable as the main hotel and we did not feel in any way that we had been downgraded. Would we stay here again - yes we would without a shadow of doubt! The hotel is in easy walking distance of the main square, restaurants, numerous bars and shops.

Room Tip: Any room has got to be good in this hotel!

We did some considerable research prior to selecting Aragon apartments (which is attached to the Hotel). I am glad we stayed there. The rooms were huge, modern, very comfortable and in a great location in the middle of historic Bruges. We booked a two bedroom apartment (rather than two hotel rooms). The rooms are separated from each other to ensure privacy.

Staff were extremely friendly and the continental breakfast - perhaps one of the best we have experienced.

I could not find anything to complain about. There is parking on site (limited) but a public carpark next door.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: We stayed on level 2 and there is a lift to device upper floors.

The hotel Aragon is well situated in a quiet street about a 3 minute walk from the main city square. The rooms are well equipped and well serviced. Wi-fi performance is good. There are nice lounge areas on the ground floor which reflect the overall pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. The breakfast offers a wide selection - although we did find the self-service area a bit too small for the number of guests. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was noticeably smaller than our friend's who paid the same tariif - I would suggest ask...

We only booked this hotel the day before but we were not disappointed. Got there in the afternoon and they were lovely. We drove so had a car and they let us leave our luggage in the lobby while we parked our car in the public carpark round the corner. The hotel does have a carpark but it was full. If you can, reserve a space when booking... We were rushing so forgot to ask this! However, the public carpark is fine and only cost €8 for 24 hours:)
Our room was spacious and cosy and the shower was really powerful.
Breakfast was included and was great... Meats cheeses cereals salmon and many breads. Was all lovely.
We chose this hotel as it was close to the heart of Bruges and we could walk everyway. Perfect spot!
Definitely use this hotel again!

A great choice of hotel down a side street just off the main square. The staff could not be more helpful every single one of them made sure you felt at home. Hotel decor very nice spotlessly clean with a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend hotel.

Room Tip: We had 2 double rooms both rooms were excellent. Book early as hotel was completely booked out.
