“Don't consider staying anywhere else in Bruges”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

Wow! Best place we stayed on our 4 week European vacation. Thank you so much to the incredible front desk staff, Elise, Nele, Pieter, and Britt for answering our endless questions. We loved our room #51 which will be even better when the lift is completed. This hotel is in a quiet area but a very short walk to the center of things. Thanks so much for offering the free walking tour (Monday - Friday at 2:30pm). Also don't miss the Saturday market in Bruges....a real delight.

Here we have the finest hotel in Europe with a professional staff who rewrite the definition of congenial. Then you add in a total renovation to make this palace more worthy, somehow they make it work. This is balance and talent together.
I'd talk about the great breakfast yet one has to experience this to understand. I have not found a better breakfast.
Yes, we have been visiting here since 1988, the Prinsenhof was a fortunate discovery.
Oh, the front desk staffer who gave me a driiving lesson to get out of the lot, thank you, see they run a magnificent vessel.

Room Tip: Speak with the staff, if you are athletic rooms 39 or 38 a great.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Prinsenhof for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was absolutely perfect in every way and one of the best that I have stayed in, the staff were amazing and very helpful especially Elise and Pieter. They made sure that our stay in Bruge was a memorable one and we will definately be going back.

My boyfriend and I have just come back from a night staying at the Prinsenhof Hotel for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with spectacular service. Our car was taken off our hands, luggage taken to the room and on request from us, a detailed map of all the best restaurants in the city appeared ( they phoned a good 3 or 4 for us but they were fully booked - tip - if you want to eat at the really good places, perhaps book ahead)

We were disappointed with our initial room which was one of the new ones by the car park ( we prefer not to be on the ground floor) and when we asked if we could move because we were there for our anniversary we were bumped up to THE most gorgeous room ( 309) An hour or so later, Petr (one of the charming hotel staff) appeared with a bottle of champagne on ice as a surprise. It made our weekend!

The breakfast is also very good and nothing was too much trouble for the waitress.

It is also centrally located and lovely and quiet.

One thing I would say is that if you're bringing a car, beware of the extra E15 parking charge.

Apart from that, it was just perfect and made our romantic weekend away truly memorable.

Room Tip: Floor 2 has just been newly decorated - Room 309 is great!

I stayed here at the end of last month for two nights, and was very well looked after by the wonderful staff.
This hotel is in a great location, very close to the Grote Markt.
A beautiful hotel in a magical city.... go and enjoy.

Room Tip: The rooms are all good!

The couple that owns the hotel and their staff are nice and very accommodating. They even managed to get us a reservation at Brugge's 3 Michelin star restaurant for the same evening as the day we inquired. They were very patient with us and our American idiosyncrasies.

The soaps shampoos were nice. Although, they did not provide conditioner.

The shower/bath is nice but it could be a problem for elderly visitors since it so deep and awkward to get into.

The hotel provides free wifi service throughout the hotel.

The location is excellent. Right around the corner is Laurenzino's waffles which, I am addicted to now! The Bellfort Tower is about a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Also, there is another delightful restaurant located in the alley behind the hotel.

If I am ever in Brugge again I would stay this hotel again.

It was a charming little family place with a wonderful location. It was a short stroll to the main square. Our room was small but comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. At check-in they gave us cards good for discounts on the local attractions.
