The Hotel Leopold is the ideal place in Bruges for the traveler on a modest budget. I have been a guest several times at the Leopold. My travelilng companions and I have always gotten a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Reginald and Corry. Their knowledge of the city is better than any guide book. The rooms and apartments/flats are in a centuries-old complex of buildings. They are very well maintained and tastefully decorated. In the morning, you will find a classic European breakfast and a very lovable Boxer dog, named "Box". (His owners have a great sense of humor.) You can't beat the location--within easy walking distance of the major attractions and dozens of restaurants. The welcome, the value received for your Euros, and the convenience to the train station are all reasons to book your stay in Bruges at the Hotel Leopold.
