Stayed at the de Medici between 08 and 09/09, mainly because of the Japanese restaurant in the hotel (which was fine, apart some minor details).
When we arrived at 11h20 the room wasn't available yet. We asked for a parking space, which was provided and we left the car there with the luggage inside, because in the hotel there was a room where we could leave the luggage and it has video survaillance, but it didn't feel secure to us.
After returning from the visit, by foot, to Brugge, which can easely be done, we were assigned room 310. Upon opening the door, the room and bathroom were huge ! This is the kind of space you get in a 4 star hotel, but there was a downside: the rooms are outdated and a renovation would do miracles. Wallpaper comming loose, tiles cracked, ... minor details, but for a 4 star this can't be tollerated.
Overall a good experience, but a renovation would be a good idea.
