Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Brugge. The hotel is in a good location just off a main road into the town but close enough for all the sights. Rooms are a good size and the staff are helpful. I wouldn't take the option of breakfast which was 9 euros for continental or 20 euros for buffet, there are plenty of great cafes close by with a great selection of coffees and pastries. A taxi from the railway station is around 9 euros and there's plenty of parking close to the hotel.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel. There were coffee and tea making facilities, but the drinking vessels provided are 2 PAPER CUPS!! and ONE wooden stirrer, together with some substandard coffee and creamy liquid that is revolting with tea. We used the glasses provided for the mini bar to drink our tea from (having bought our own decent tea bags) However on the second day housekeeping, having seen that we had bought some ordinary milk and stored it is in the mini bar removed the drinking glasses, leaving just very think plastic tumblers from the bathroom or one paper cup each to drink from. We understand, of course, that like any business they have to try to make their money where they can but I think was one step too far. The mini bar prices are, as you would expect, hefty. Although we booked through Expedia excluding breakfast the cost of the normal breakfast at €20 is not really justified. The "city" breakfast at the hotel is €9 and consists of coffee, fruit juice, croissants and a Danish, so that's no quite so bad. Brugges has generally become a lot more expensive over the last 10 years - the car park, whilst convenient as it is right below the hotel cost €43 for 5 nights.

Local taxes are €2,50 per room per night

On the plus side the hotel is very convenient - 5 minutes walk to the centre of the Brugge and 10 to the station. Our room was very quiet and the curtains have proper blackout lining so you can really get a good night's sleep. The housekeeping was carried out to a high standard and the rooms, as always, were very clean.

There is a slower connection free wifi which is very handy and 3 plug sockets for charging various electrical items

The rooms are far too hot in the winter

All in all the hotel is a bit like any other chain - you know you are going to get a certain standard, but it lacks a bit of character and the extras soon add up

Watch out for variable temperatures of water with the shower - our son's fiancee was scalded, so safer to take a bath

We drove to Bruge for a weekend visit from the UK, left the car in the public car park under the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the markets and other attractions in Bruge. Rooms are a good size with big comfortable beds. Staff are all helpful and friendly and speak English well. Hotel serves a good breakfast buffet. The bar has big comfy chairs and very good Belgian beer on tap. Overall I don't think you can go wong using this hotel as a base when visiting Bruge.

Nice clean confy hotel, excellent staff and very close to the markets etc in Bruge, I would stay again. Did not try the restaurant as there are so many in Bruge to choose from. Free wifi - 512kb which others in the party used and were very happy with.
