“Great hotel on the edge of town ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Had a lovely weekend staying here with friends. On the edge of the town centre so quiet but easy to get around. Parking was a little difficult as Saturday is market day and they close a lot of roads but that's not the hotel's fault. Breakfast not included but otherwise great ! Beds amazingly comfortable - will be back !

The hotel is quite near both the railway station and the centre. The room was spacious with a huge and comfortable bed,the bathroom was big with toiletries. There were few sockets in the room. The side street is a market street,at least around 1st May, and it was noisy at night. Wifi was good except that you always have to reconnect.

Good location walking distance from the railway station, but rooms facing the bus station are very loud in April/May due to the funfair set up just opposite. The sight and sounds of the ghost train from your window do not lead to a restful afternoon nap! Close to the shopping and sightseeing areas of Bruges. The hotel facilities are average. Rooms are large but the decor is a little dated in some rooms and the bathrooms in need of an upgrade.

Tucked away yes but my word couldn't ask for a better location. Well within walking distance of all the sights. We arrived on bank holiday weekend when Bruges was packed to the gunnels. The main square had a full blown theme park errected and must have had thousands of people there. The hotel was literally feet and we were constantly disturbed by......... Nothing.... Not a jot. We couldn't hear the hussle and bustle. It was amazing. When we arrived we were greeted at reception by a very polite young lady who took us through everything we needed down to where we had parked our car. She also explained about breakfast which cost 15 euros each, but when you're in Bruges try getting breakfast for 15 euros..... It's not the cheapest place in the world by a long way. Our room 249, was on the first floor and was clean very adequately equipped with everything and well above our expectations considering what we paid. It was chilly outside but the room was superbly heated and comfortable. The size of the room was more than adequate too. It was huge, as was the bed and sooooo comfortable too I didn't want to get up. I booked this break for my wife's birthday and her words were that she was "overwhelmed" by the place. I have read some of the less pleasurable reviews on here and all I can assume is that they must have been caught on a very bad day. I couldn't find any fault whatsoever. All the staff were polite and an absolute credit to the hotel and company. I will definitely be returning and soon hopefully. Thank you all for making my wife's 40th birthday a momentous event. Memories that will stay.

Me and my partner stayed at NH Brugge for two nights and were very happy! Spacious and clean room, perfect location for the city centre and train station and very reasonably priced.

Only downside is there was a slightly unpleasant odour in the corridor outside our room the whole time we were there. However, I'm sure that was a one off, and we would definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel - would recommend and re-visit!
The hotel is pleasant 10 minute walk from the train station, we arrived slightly early and asked if we could store our luggage and were pleasantly surprised to be told the room was ready. The room was fantastic, a nice large room & bathroom - well presented with good facilities, surprised to read people saying the hotel is "tired" - we thought the whole hotel was very well presented - certainly not the featureless, souless chain which you can sometimes find. The square which the hotel is in hosts a number of cool bars which were very welcoming. The main square is a 5 minute walkaway with all the sights, restaurants and bars! The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient, the bar (and barman) were very welcoming, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Difficult to see how the hotel could improve.... we will certainly be returning!

Room Tip: We were on the bottom floor, looking out onto the small garden.

We wanted a hotel close to a car park, within walking distance of Bruges - and we got it!
The hotel is a conference centre and caters for individual business travellers as well as coach tours. The facilities are good, the decor slightly worn. Being right on top of one of Flanders great towns we ventured out to eat (twice) as the restaurant appeared expensive. However the (included) breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of continental and cooked breakfast. Rooms are well appointed, large screen tv and coffee/tea tray plus fridge.
