I would recommend this restaurant to fellow vegetarians. Open at lunchtimes, and worth a visit. On arrival we were greeted with a homely atmosphere (the interior reminded us somewhat of a bookshop cafe, i.e. unpretentious, very relaxed )
Once seated we were presented with the menu. There is no english version (the menu is in dutch) however this was not a problem as the waitress was very friendly and translated it for us immediately.
Most people opted for the dish of the day - a platter of hot and cold vegetables, with pasta and pulses. Alternatively there was a quiche and salad option available, plus further options. (For meat eaters there was a lamb mossaka, plus a further two options.) A tasty looking selection of desserts, plus freshly squeezed juices, wines and beer. Good value for money, and service prompt and efficient.
p.s. On a slightly separate note....
My dinner recommendation would be the veggie tagalelle at Cambrinus - although you need to book a table in advance.
