“Flanders Fields Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This tour was one of the main reasons for us visiting Belgium. We didn't pre-book and were very lucky to get on the tour due to a cancellation! (best to pre-book). The day was a full one, it was extremely hot but Philip was a brilliant guide and did his best to keep us all cool while he informed us of history of the area (from the 1st world war point of view) and showed us the selected sites.
The mid day break was well placed and the museum excellent! He allowed enough time at each stop for us to get a feel of the atmosphere. The last site was no exception where he read John McCraes' poem. In all a well organised and executed tour.

“A must do when visiting Belgium”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Re: Sharon & Philippe at Quasimodo Tours, Bruges, Belgium

Julie and I both found the tour very interesting, informative and in a way quite moving at the level of sacrifice soldiers from all countries gave to defend the other countries.

We found it excellent value for the full day covering the sites and enjoyed the lunch at the museum, which was a nice break in what was a long day in the heat.

Philippe was a good communicator, so again thanks for the memories, some events which we did not know about and have already informed others back home of what things went on.

Well done Philippe for leaving the air conditioning on as well!!

Highly recommended...a must do tour when visiting your wonderful country.

Our kind regards

Gordon & Julie from England

“A superb day out in Flanders Fields (WW2 Battlefields)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

We were picked up from our hotel by taxi and taken to a central pick-up point close to the station where we were met by Philip with his mini coach. He gave us a full run down of the days agenda and we set off on the tour. He provided a running commentary prior to the stops at each place of interest and then more info when we arrived on site.
His knowledge is endless and his delivery is never boring, always interesting.
The tour lasted a full day and comes highly recommended.

“A Memorable Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

My Wife and I recently spent a day on the Flanders Fields tour during our stay in Bruges. The transport was very comfortable, and we appreciated the taxi collection from our Hotel to the pick up point.
Phillippe was our driver and guide throughout the trip. His knowledge and commentary at the various stops during the day was both extensive and captivating.
A very enjoyable day and well recommended.
